Comparing systematic review manipulation to a "movie trailer exaggerating features" is a very flawed analogy, @OsalEmma.

A movie trailer uses cinematic angles to highlight real footage. Buying bot farms to fabricate thousands of fake accounts and write identity-theft style 5-star reviews isn't "exaggeration" — it is a direct falsification of public consensus.

Regarding the support agent: a global platform like Trustpilot does not issue a permanent red banner and lock a multimillion-dollar corporate profile based on a minor error. They do it after an internal investigation provides irrefutable data links. The support agent didn't deny it because the red banner was already live on their page; there was nothing left to deny.

There is a massive line between aggressive marketing and systematic deception. When a crypto project normalizes cross-platform manipulation as "just business," it shows a core integrity issue that directly compromises player safety.

This is one thing about review and ratings as they could be bought by the site from individuals. As a gambler before going into using any site should at least check if they are reputable enough not by following the overall ratings from these sites such as trustpilot or whatever. Before using a site you should at least check if that site is also linked to this community at least this is where you could get a good recommendation because they can easily bought trusted and reputable users here and they could give their honest review so that every other user could be that careful on what they are doing in regards to their involvement with the gambling site or casino as it may seems to be.

Exactly, that is why I brought this discussion here. Bitcointalk has a much stronger community filters compared to public review platforms.

When a casino feels too comfortable faking reviews on sites like Trustpilot, the crypto community here needs to know about it. Transparency is key, and forums like this are the last line of defense for players to find real, unbought opinions. Thanks for your input!

Honestly speaking, I do not trust any other site outside this forum as I believe that they have enough dedicated users who can police people around the forum especially when a new site is launched on the forum, you would see people that would dig into the site to know if they are legit or not, by so doing they can also post across to warned people about the site none transparent enough to be trusted or deal with. So, before using any site for specific functions they should at least view the review from people here, and not just anyhow people but from most reputable users on the forum.

Ratings has nothing to do with casino's legitimacy as far as I know.
This is the wrong perception you carry my friend. Whenever we buy something online or use an online service, we check the ratings first. The same thing applies to online gambling casinos. I don’t know about others but I do check the casino’s ratings, along with a bunch of other factors to determine the legitimacy of the site.

People share their honest experiences with casinos via these ratings. Yes sometimes ratings and reviews might be manipulated, which is why I use a combination of different methods to test the legitimacy of a casino.

Regarding Shuffle, I do like that casino and so far, I haven’t had any issues with them. Maybe an official statement from them regarding this matter could help clarify things for us.

I couldn't agree more, @DPHOR. The collective intelligence and the "policing" culture of this community are exactly what makes Bitcointalk irreplaceable.

When a new platform launches, you can buy fake metrics on public review sites in five minutes, but you cannot fool the seasoned eyes here who immediately dig into the fine print, the tech, and the background. Independent, unbought users doing deep dives is the ultimate shield for everyday players.

Thank you for confirming that raising these transparency flags is vital for keeping our community safe. Your objective insight is highly appreciated!

That is a very fair approach. It is always best to stay balanced and wait for an official response before making a final judgment. If a platform functions well for you personally, that is definitely a good sign from a user experience standpoint.

However, from a broader risk-management perspective, the "everything works fine for me" metric can be a bit tricky in the crypto space. History shows that most platforms work perfectly for the majority of users right up until a sudden systemic issue occurs. This is why the community tends to be hyper-sensitive to any external red flags.

An official statement from Shuffle would certainly help clarify things and restore confidence. But as users who value transparency, we also have to keep in mind that official PR usually tries to minimize negative press. A red fraud warning banner on a major review site is quite a significant metric that is hard to ignore completely.

It is not about calling the project a scam right away, but rather about keeping a close eye on their practices. If a team compromises on transparency in their marketing or review metrics, it naturally raises questions about how they handle other aspects behind the scenes. Let's see how they address this!

UPDATE:

UPDATE: I contacted Shuffle support regarding the red banner, and here is their official response (translated from Russian support):

"Trustpilot took action against the company profile due to a breach of their guidelines. Specifically, Trustpilot stated that it removed a number of reviews that they deemed fake. This is why the company's rating is currently unavailable on their platform... This action by Trustpilot does not indicate any security or legitimacy issues with Shuffle."

So, Shuffle support officially CONFIRMED that they got caught using fake reviews. Yet, they claim that manipulating feedback and cheating users online "doesn't affect their legitimacy".

This is an unbelievable level of damage control. What do you think about a casino that openly admits to review fraud but tells players "don't worry, your funds are safe"?

Let's give them some credit, at least they were honest about all this by your own account... but how do we know all this happend without any screenshots of the conversation etcetera?

And like everyone has said, review sites outside the forums walls are outside it's control, otherwise user's are encouraged to do their own due diligence and DYOR everytime..

Can you make more clarity on what’s your real intention here?

I really don't understand what Op intention is on this issue as well. At first, I thought it was just about creating awareness regarding the issue but how Op remained adamant and even using AI to respond to almost every post here is questionable. I'm surprised that people did not notice he's using AI to respond to their posts one after the other.

I don't know if op is also paid to push this issue here to the last point in order to cause harm to shuffle reputation in the forum. If its about awareness, he's done that with his post already but he's defending Trustpilot action and wants everyone else to believe with him that shuffle should not be trusted.

bone777, I hope you're aware that using AI to post is a shady behaviour and might get your account tagged? What's the difference between you and shuffle when you're passing AI output as yours? That's also fake and you're guilty of what Trustpilot accused shuffle with.

I am not supporting Shuffle here but Shuffle actually telling you Trustpilot removed reviewed they deemed fake is not a confirmation from Shuffle that they got caught using fake reviews.

They were merely telling you the reason Trustpilot used to issue the red warning.

Still a good awareness post,,, but you should also get a warning for AI responses Wink

It's his post but we cannot really verify if it's actually coming from Shuffle themselves. It would be much better if the user also attached a screenshot, not just a translation that we don't know is completely accurate. For this kind of issue, a screenshot would be more reliable.

English is not my native language at all. I use translation tools and grammar checking browser extensions to clear up my sentences so high-rank users here can understand my points. If trying to write clean English and translating corporate text makes me look like an AI to you, I cannot help that. I am a real user with no hidden agenda, and I am definitely not paid by anyone to push this topic.

To clear all doubts about my words and prove I did not make anything up with AI, here is the direct screenshot of the official email response I received from Lily from Shuffle support:

https://ibb.co/cS4QGKHd
As you can see, the email is in Russian because that is my native language and how I communicate with them. If you translate their official response, the support literally confirms exactly what I updated you guys with earlier: "Trustpilot took action against the company profile due to a breach of their guidelines. Specifically, Trustpilot stated that it removed a number of reviews that they deemed fake."

My previous update post looked very formal and structured simply because I was trying to translate their official corporate email as accurately as possible into English using a translator.

Now that the real proof is on the table, I hope we can stop attacking my writing style or looking for fake AI conspiracies. Let's actually focus on the main issue of this topic: why a multi-million dollar crypto platform is officially admitting that Trustpilot caught them manipulating reviews and hit them with a red fraud warning banner. What are your thoughts on this actual problem?

Although we really don't know what is the intention of OP by trying to spread this news. But what he raised still a good situation need to look at https://www.trustpilot.com/review/shuffle.com

Because for sure Trustpilot won't issue that warning if they didn't find any suspicious actions done by said casino.

Although what we know is Shuffle have great reputation here, but they need to issue a legitimate statement regarding on the feedback given to them by Trustpilot.

Not trying to back up Shuffle or other casinos that also use fake reviews on the internet, but for me, it can be counted as a minor cheat. It's so common, not only for casinos but also for many other companies to look "good" in many ways for marketing purposes. For me, what's more important for a casino is PAYING. No matter how old school your casino is, no matter how bad your reviews are, as long as the casino still pays all people's winnings as it should, then it's a good casino.

Also, I feel like there's no casino with good reviews on the internet. Ratings would be between 1 something to 3 something. But still, those casinos with bad reviews still have many players who consistently play there. Somehow, I also think the fake reviews are not just about making fake good reviews, but also fake bad reviews for black campaign purposes in the tight competition in the gambling industry. That's why I don't really believe in reviews from outside of this forum. People outside this forum just post whatever they want. But here, reviewers give reviews on behalf of their BTT accounts. They know fake reviews or reports could put their accounts at risk. Anyone else think of the same thing?

Trust Pilot reviews can be manipulated and I am surprised to see them taking action against a casino for a manipulative attempts breaching their terms whereas there are several scam casinos there that have high review ratings because they were able to pave way through the corrupt team. Never you trust a reviewing platform where several complaints had been noticed from  their users.
Maybe Trust Pilot is updating their terms and trying to make a good name by restricting companies that are getting involved in fake reviews over the year.

If they takes this moves then it is the right steps for them, at least to gained back their reputation as overly seems that people are now beginning to see that feedbacks can be manipulative, were they are trying their best to make sure that whatever review or trust feedback that is coming from them is trustworthy. If I may, no site can gain that reputation this forum gained as whatever report and feedback that is given from this community is that authentic and trustworthy enough.

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts, it is great to see a constructive discussion here. I am glad the screenshot clarified the situation and answered the questions about the support response.

I completely agree with the point that we should never blindly trust external review platforms, and this case with Shuffle is a perfect example of why DYOR is always necessary. When a multi-million dollar platform officially admits that a third-party site removed their reviews for manipulation, it definitely gives food for thought.

Whether the casino team decides to release an official statement or just waits for the red banner to disappear, it is a good reminder for the community. In crypto, we must always verify everything yourself rather than relying on a "5-star" rating on marketing websites. Let's see how this plays out in the long run.

Thank you mate!
But I want to also inform you that you should be that mindful on how you keep responding to the people here at once, you can either quote them all to make a single reply than you keep replying everyone one by follows which the forum doesn't permits it as it's seen as spamming. Of course the community is entirely well cultured with its principles and if you or anyone else there do not abide to it then they would be unlucky not to receive the penalty that involves in their violation.

How can we be sure the information you provided here is genuine?
Second, all genuine crypto gamblers dont trust the review provided by Trustpilot because they can be manipulated, and the last time i checked, the platform is using AI for their review verification, and I'm not sure they use the support of humans.
The last time i checked, most gamblers like this forum review with the inclusion of AskGamblers, etc.

I can't think of any reason why bone777 for a thing like this. Well, considering the information is coming from a newbie account, it shows the real owner doesn't want to reveal his identity. This opens the discussion of a suspicious accusation.
If you backread less than 10 posts above you, you will see that OP already provided an answer regarding his rank. I think what he wants is to spread awareness regarding this issue. But since the reviews only came from Trustpilot, the opinion of us here was divided. There's shouldn't be only one source to rely on. Just like what they say, using Bitcointalk to fact check issues such as this is more reliable than Trustpilot.
You have a point but I can't judge the other users based on how some people have used newbie account performed what s/he stated which I believe make most users on this forum judge every newbie accounts that accused every casino brand as the bird of the same feather.
As you said, we need the review of this forum on the casino in the subject to be sure if they are not reputation since this forum review can't be manipulate, and this forum never support scam related activities.

I am very suspicious about any reports of "unfair bans" or withdrawal problems, because they seem to be about either handled later on in silence or pissed off users who found out that casinos can kyc them after they try to withdraw money.

And i am certain that this kind of vote manipulation exists in some bounty campaigns, as i remember seeing some of them disguised as altcoin airdrops as well. And frankly it would be weird not to try and manipulate those, yet this is something companies wouldn't admit.

And i guess we aren't seeing the same translated reply, because i don't see anywhere in that Shuffle CONFIRMING anything. They are just stating what Trustpilot did, not what they themselves supposedly did.

I mean what's the alternative approach you would like to see? Them saying that "Shuffle don't manipulate their votes" would be even weirder as no one but you has directly accused of them doing it.

You make a very fair point about how companies handle PR, and I agree that no marketing team will ever send an email saying "Yes, we officially cheated."

But my point is about how they choose to frame it. Trustpilot doesn't put up a massive red fraud warning banner just because of a few random spam reviews. They do it when they detect systematic, massive manipulation from the platform's side (like bot farms or incentivized reviews).

When a multi-million dollar casino responds to a user by basically saying "Trustpilot flagged us for fake reviews, but don't worry, it doesn't affect our legitimacy," that is a passive confirmation of the situation. Instead of saying they are investigating why fake reviews were associated with their brand or claiming it was a mistake, they just brush it off as if manipulating public feedback outside the platform is completely normal business practice.

As a community, if we just accept this corporate damage control as normal because "all companies do it," we are lowering the bar for transparency. If they are comfortable with misleading metrics on review sites to attract depositors, it naturally makes people question how transparent they are with other things behind the scenes.
