I don't know if this is the right place to discuss this but I couldn't find a better board. It's discussion about a service after all.

I tested ChatGPT's latest models and Claude's Opus and Fable. Honestly, right now, I'm impressed by the AI. Now it gives much better answers in many fields than before, including general questions, medicine and so on and does quite a good job in coding too.

Before AI, people were mostly doing things on their own and when they needed an advice, they were asking for it to a friend, relative and so on. Nowadays I notice that people ask every question to ChatGPT because it's probably the most popular AI for average user (thanks to its marketing).

Now, my question is, when it comes to Bitcoin, cryptos, trading and other information/actions in general, if in the past everyone was thinking mostly by their individual mind, now they mostly follow what AI, especially ChatGPT tells them. How will this change the picture of our future?
Someone wants to know which wallet software to use, they'll ask ChatGPT. Which exchange to use? Ask ChatGPT. Which crypto to invest in? Ask ChatGPT. Instead of multiple minds, the majority of people will follow the mind of ChatGPT. Don't you think so? It annoys me a bit.

And why would that annoy you? Many people outsource there thinking already, ChatGPT is just the new google with a conversational UI. Because the majority of people don't want to do the work, they don't want to read the manuals or what so ever, people want a quick answer, so they ask LLM. It won't replace critical thinking but i will build the larg herd of lazy people make the exact same mistakes.

People follow and use what is reliable and what works; AI is not a trend anymore that you can test and see if it works; it's how we do things on things that we need answers to, so it's the new rule and our new environment, so you have to get used to it,

I used to hate AI for being too good, but I have to choose them or go backward.

So many people do not know about crypto forums like bitcointalk, if they did, they would start such discussions in the forum and engage in quality discussions with forum users. It is just sad that a lot of people come to the forum after they have been scammed. I don't hate Ai, i just don't like it when people use it for very easy stuffs that they can think and do for themselves, E.G. You want to write a letter, you don't need Ai to write one for you.

However, people have always surfed the internet for stuffs like wallet or exchange to use, even before Ai became very popular, so i don't see any problem with it.

Don’t make it complicated; take it easy. AI isn’t a decision-maker; AI is to provide you information that you need to know. A few AIs would take action, though, with our prior permission. However, this is pro-AI, especially designed for trading and analysing the market.

But if we talk about average AI, then it’s to give you information and data. Like you need current market data or upcoming events. AI will find data for you to provide maximum accuracy. Then you have to make a decision. However, AI will help you to take the right decision faster; you can compare many things together in one question.

Why do you think asking a friend, relative, etc. for advice was better than, for example, ChatGPT?  Unless of course they are experts in the field your question relates to.

I think only fools follow financial advice from ChatGPT or similar language models.  But you cant say herding behavior is something new - it existed long before AI became a trend.  Before this, people blindly followed TikTok and YouTube influencers, or random people on forums and Reddit.

People who rely on ChatGPT to tell them where to put their life savings will simply learn the hard way, just like the ones who bought whatever coins BitBoy told them to buy back in the day.

Before these AIs, we had the internet, and we still have it; people used to say "check it on the internet" or "Google it," and it's become very common. These AIs are an alternative or option, so why are you annoyed? You still have the option to use it or not and depend on your thinking for a solution or answer.
AIs are here to stay to help our decision-making, so treat them positively, and you'll be more productive.

To tell the truth, most people were lost before the invention of AI, and now they are even more lost, no matter how much they think artificial intelligence can help them. He who lets his life be shaped by an algorithm will eventually turn into a machine that will function as that algorithm suggests.

AI has good applications in society and I have no doubt about that, but what ordinary people do with it is quite devastating for the human species. As for cryptocurrencies, I just see that scammers have gained a new tool with which they can scam people even more efficiently in all possible and impossible ways.

We are moving forward; there's always a new innovation coming up, and AI is one innovation that's hard to ignore because of what it can do. AIs are designed to help humans improve their lives, but unfortunately, they can deprive us of our own critical thinking and how we behave.

It's insane what these AI can do and how much they'll improve in the future; it is up to us humans to believe we are better than AI to keep our sanity and our capability.
I too sometimes find it annoying. I tried to minimize the use of AI, or I will lose my independence to think on my own.

Yup, we've got search engines before and we have also to prompt it and results will come out. This time, AI is consolidating all of the answers, the best ones and gives us nearly accurate results.

I think anyone who relies their decisions on what AI says with each of its answers that they have to put it with a grain of salt. It can be correct but it cannot be accurate sometimes. And it's even a problem when scammers put up a phishing link and able to grow their reach and an AI think that it's the most suggested one, that's why it can be good source of resource but we still need to verify what it gives.

I think the single biggest fear should be that now that most people including school students outsource a large part of their intellectual and academy work to AI. I had a conversation with a friend during the weekend and he expressed concerns that in recent times, he can't defend his discipline and have to rely on AI to help him out on even bare minimum fundamentals.

Human intelligence might have hit the top for the near future.
