HashratePower —
hashratepower.comA marketplace to rent Bitcoin hashpower directly from another person — or rent your rig out — built so you
never have to trust the platform.
Why it's different from every cloud-mining site you've seen dieThe platform is non-custodial by construction, not by promise:
- Per-rental 2-of-3 escrow — every rental gets a fresh P2WSH address built from three keys: renter, owner, and an arbiter. You fund it from your own wallet. The platform holds ONE key and can move nothing alone.
- Dead-platform guarantee — the escrow script contains a CSV timelock (2016 blocks, ~14 days). If everyone else vanishes — the owner, the arbiter, the site itself — the renter reclaims the full escrow alone, enforced by the Bitcoin network, no server involved. We can disappear and you cannot lose your funds.
- Mined coins never touch us — the rig points at YOUR pool account. Whatever it mines, blocks included, is 100% yours. No block-found fee.
- The fee is an on-chain output — 3% of the rental price, paid as an output inside the settlement transaction both parties sign. There are no balances on the site, ever.
- Automated, deterministic arbitration — disputes are resolved from a public evidence log (stratum probes, pool stats, blocks found), pro-rata to what was actually delivered. No human discretion. Every rental has a token-free public proof page with the escrow address, funding/settlement txids and the witness script, so you can audit it on-chain.
- Owner reputation from data, not stars — delivered % is computed from the signed settlement splits (verifiable at each settle txid) and forms a sha256 hash chain anyone can recompute via the public API. History can grow; it can't be rewritten.
No accounts, no KYC, nothing to leakThere is no email, no password, no personal data — we collect no contact details at all (anyone "contacting you from HashratePower" is by definition an impostor; we have no way to). Sign-in is
Bitcoin-SIGN: your wallet signs a one-time text challenge (BIP-322 — Sparrow, Electrum, etc.) and that signature is your login. It uses Bitcoin's cryptography, never the network: no transaction, no fee, nothing on-chain, and a message signature can't spend anything — sign with an empty address if you like. Or skip login entirely and just use the per-rental token links.
For rig owners — list with a pubkey and a payout address. Your rig is probed and stamped PASS/UNVERIFIED/FAIL against your claimed hashrate before renters see it. You get paid on-chain at settlement.
Honest notes- Newly launched (August 2026), mainnet live. Small marketplace right now — early listers get the first renters.
- Not offered in some jurisdictions (US/UK/EU among them) — connections from there get an unavailability notice. That's a deliberate availability policy.
- BTC only, end to end. No fiat, no tokens, no "hashpower contracts" — you rent a real machine from a real person for a fixed term.
Kick the tyres without spending a sat: there's a
sandbox that walks the full escrow loop with real signatures and simulated funding, and the whole design is documented at
/arch — escrow script, timelock, arbitration method, all of it.
