Wassabi versions older than 2.8.0 would stop working by September 1st, 2026

As posted on their X handle earlier today

Tor 0.4.8 and earlier versions will stop working after September 1st, 2026.

This means that Wasabi versions older than 2.8.0 will stop working as well.

Current latest version v2.8.1 is not affected. Please upgrade.

I was think Kruw posted this, but I later saw that it was not him that posted it.

Since Whirlpool was no more after Samourai wallet was taken down and Sparrow disabled it, that was the last time I used coinjoin. I prefer to risk on those centralized mixers or go for monero kind of mixing.

But for people that are still using wabisabi, this can be useful for them. Are people's transaction not censored anymore?
