if you have free power you could mine at a profit .

but if you have 10 cent a k-watt power or higher everything is a loser.

Hello,
I have four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 48GB graphics cards. What coins are profitable to mine with these graphics cards?

Thank you.
https://www.hashrate.no/gpus/4090
This table contains several values, look at the values for 24 hours, they are more accurate.

Even at 10 cents per kilowatt, you can still make a small profit, but it's unlikely to be satisfactory. There's also a rental market for equipment, but that requires a good processor and memory.
https://clore.ai/marketplace?gpu=+RTX+4090
While you're not renting, the equipment mines a profitable coin. But by renting your 4 video cards, you can earn 0.50-0.60 cents per hour.

This rental price for your equipment is slightly below the market average. Those renting your graphics cards will likely be working on their own AI projects or other projects, but mining doesn't offer that kind of profit.
Since you have 48 gigabytes of memory, renting your graphics cards may be more expensive, but you'll need to research the market yourself.

So what graphics card is suitable for mining Bitcoin?

None. Since 2013 BTC mining requires dedicated specialized hardware called ASIC's. Max Voltage on Youtube is a good channel to learn about AI GPU rentals.

A Russian miner has compiled a list of services.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457533
While Bitcoin mining isn't profitable on GPUs, these services will mine profitable coins, sell them, and pay you a reward in Bitcoin or other tokens.
This is not always the most profitable option, because the newest and most profitable coins are added later.

It is almost time to bust out the altcoin miners again...  Dust off the 1080ti rigs and get my Radeon VII's ready to rock.  Sure, mining might be unprofitable, but it's better than paying for heating.  I do get excited this time of year to get super nerdy.  Now I've got my GPUs mining ravencoin (at a loss) to heat my house and CPUs and hard drives being used by Grok Bot for additional processing power and storage.  Love having a use for these old rigs.

I’ve had bad experiences with old hardware. I’ve had sockets and power supplies burn out, graphics card contacts fail, and even chips explode. I prefer to mine for 4–5 years and then replace the entire setup; otherwise, I’d have to come up with a plan for fire safety. Be careful with this type of heating and keep flammable objects away from it.
