If your taste increases and you want something better as your financial capacity increases, is that really a problem? I don't think it is. Wanting bigger things is not a problem that rich people encounter. Rich people majorly face some problems that includes getting into bigger debts, the rich also owes money but a lot of people don't actually know this.

Another problem being rich creates is that such people would always be involved with a lot of people that are fake, be it in relationships, friendships and so on, this is because these people around them would do anything to always take from them, that is the reason why a lot of rich people find it very hard to trust others. Op when i first saw the topic, of your thread i was actually thinking that you were going to talk about problems that money cause as a result of one acquiring too much of it. But going through your thread i was actually disappointed because you did not mention anything meaningful rather than talking about how expenses increase as a result of you acquiring more money . Financial discipline is needed to maintain your level of financial freedom. If you have an increase in your sources of income, it does not mean that you must change your lifestyle, if your lifestyle is good before you have extra sources or more income, the best thing to do is to maintain the lifestyle and save up money for further investment not to prove to people that you now have more money to spend.

It is more difficult to maintain a standard but most people would think otherwise. Money is an entity that should always be made no matter what, because the moment it ceases, life becomes unbearable and adapting to the past standard becomes difficult.

No, having access to more money doesn't "naturally" cause a change in tastes and this can be controlled if someone is interested in protecting their finances. Some people definitely do overspend and go wild when they get a sudden windfall, but people who have worked hard to accumulate wealth - brick by brick - are often acutely aware of how easily money can disappear unless used wisely.
