I don't even know if i should not be paying that much attention on the bitcoin market speculation regarded how the news has always been and how the outcome of the market being totally different.
Was it not just last week with the news that Strategy sold 1,690 of bitcoin for approximately $104.7 million? Then speculations with negative odds about how bitcoin price was going to be negatively affected continued to erupt with the believe that other investors will begin sell out of Fomo and wants to opt out before the margin sells begin to have effect in the market.
And currently the market even looks like it has gained some supports to break the long time $65,000 resistance. Meanwhile Strategy sold when the market was trading at $63,000.

The best thing is not to focused on market trends because you may end up taking the wrong decision. If you allow most of this information to get to you, there is high chances of being impulsive. As far as bitcoin is concerned this kind of information will always come up and is left for us not to allow such information to make us to take any wrong decisions out of fear. Sometimes it may be good to turn a deaf ear to whatever that is being speculated about the market because there is no one that can perfectly predict the future price of bitcoin. Therefore your focus should be on building a good bitcoin holdings and not allowing yourself to be move into taking emotional decisions as a result of market sentiment.

Perhaps it just shows that the market has matured enough that even in the bear market, such negative news does not do anything in the market. Otherwise, there could be an immediate sell-off. But we didn't see that movement in the market.

I do agree that we are not seeing drops because of news, but that is mainly because we are already in the bear market, which means that weak hands already sold. People who would sell for a news would have already sold by now because of the bear market. And people who have diamond hands and are not selling would not sell for news anyway. This means that it would have worked in a bull market maybe, or a stable market, but in a bear market bad news doesn't really change much when you are near the bottom.

The simple truth is that if you keep listening to most of the things people are saying, you will likely be misled, and it will definitely affect your investment in the future. Imagine those who sold their Bitcoin a few months back because of a random dip and unnecessary panic on the Internet; I'm quite sure that they will be regretting it right now because they sold at the wrong time. However, it will be a bit difficult for long term investors to sell based on trends on words online.

You are all on point as distinguished. The bear market does not have to spike fear of missing out on other investors all because of negative news about the market.

Yes, I believe paying more attention to speculation is worth it. However, not all speculation is worth giving attention. Some people make speculations for clickbait, some are there for cock and bull stories, and there are others who want to get monetized for engagement. Only a few share genuine information from experience.

We are in a generation where anyone can pick up the mic, face the camera, and start explaining a thing they have no knowledge of. I understand that speculations are not 100% correct,t but to someone with Bitcoin knowledge, they will have a more realistic speculation.

If you truly want to succeed as a Bitcoin holder, you need to be positive and stay off what's happening in the market because it might get you emotional, and before you know it, you may sell your holdings thinking that their would be a massive drop, just like in this case, but on the contrary, it has moved higher to $77k plus that it is now, so it's very important not to pay any attention to what is going on in the market because it might affect your decision making negatively. So just buy, accumulate and hold for a very long time, because that's the best way to make something big out of your investment.

If you have a long term "investment" outlook and you believe that the market over time will rise - as it has
done since its inception well whats the point of getting caught up on what todays market sentiment is?
If you are buying, just buy and the same for selling if you have to. Think long term and the micro market
speculations disappear over time.

Its also kind of important to realise that speculations are exactly that - guess work, some informed others
possibly trying to influence the market in a certain way to their own interests.

It is never a good idea for an investor to focus on the market price. An investor should focus on holding it for the long term and buying it consistently. I got very greedy when I saw the price of Bitcoin go up recently and if I had Bitcoin, I would have definitely taken the step of selling my holdings. I have been thinking for a few days that maybe I have a long term investment goal and I will never think short term and I will never get greedy by looking at the price of Bitcoin. But the current bull market has completely proven this idea to be wrong.

A person who has high expectations on Bitcoin and a person who focuses on the price of Bitcoin may never be able to hold it for the long term. It is best for an investor to not place expectations on Bitcoin as much as possible and to not look at the price of Bitcoin as much as possible.

It is left for you to decide whether to follow the news or not because I don't think anyone should advise you on that because what will work for you may not work for the other person and what will work for the other person may not work for you. There are things I don't ask or I would not want people to decide for me or give me a suggestion especially something like Bitcoin, no one has power over it so everyone is just doing what they think it is convenient for them. I don't follow speculation I follow what my mind told me.

It depends on you. A trader will probably check speculation about the market that he will trade, especially a currency like Bitcoin, which can always be volatile.

The fact that no one really knows where the market will move, upward or downward, when it comes to Bitcoin means it is speculation that we need. No accurate prediction. Just someone who thought about using the graphs to make it look like a smart guess. But it is still a "guess," a prediction, taking the risk by using speculation.

No matter what anyone says, we do not really have any means to tell where the market will go.
