As a Bitcoin investor, there are three things I prioritize when it comes to investing in Bitcoin, and would also advice bigginers to take into consideration, although there are also some other vital information that can make a bigginer successful, but these three(3) points are what I cherish so much, and they are as follows:
1. Security of your investment: This is nothing but making sure, you choose the right Bitcoin wallet, and making sure it is inaccessible to scammers online. Safety is the beginning of your success in Bitcoin investing, and once the safety of your Bitcoin is compromised, your whole intention to make any gain is also compromised.
2. Long term Hodling: Many Bitcoin investors have failed because they lack patience, and when you are impatient with your Bitcoin investment, you will never make profit. There are people who invest in Bitcoin thinking they can make quick money from it, but Bitcoin does not promise quick money, therefore learn to be patient with your Bitcoin investment, and your financial goals will surely be achieved.
3. Avoid emotions, and noise: This is the last and not the least, investing with emotions, and listening to noise can rob an investor of great benefit in Bitcoin investing. Right from the beginning of Bitcoin, noise from social media saying Bitcoin will go down to zero has caused many investors to be discouraged, and loose interest investing in Bitcoin, but when you are able to work with these points as a beginner, you will definitely achieve your goals , and objects in your Bitcoin investment.

1. Financial discipline
2. Risk management
3. Profit isn’t guaranteed in bitcoin

Knowing this three things listed here is very important as a beginner.
Financial discipline will help you control your funds for your investment to be able to achieve your goal.

Risk management allows you manage risks, to make the right decision to take calculative risk, like investing with discretionary funds, building emergency funds and also holding for long term.

Lastly, profit in bitcoin investment is not guaranteed, it depend on your strategy since bitcoin is volatile in nature, most people experience lose when they sell during market dip. So we hold the power in our hands, not everyone that invested in bitcoin, ended up making profit.

Probably the most important things every beginner should know.

More on financial discipline, since you only focused on limited spending and cutting your coat. What I'm more interested in in the area of financial discipline is investing with what you can afford. If a beginner is so concentrated on the goal that they invest more than they are capable of controlling, it will affect them later. All hands are not equal. A beginner should not invest an amount that keeps the family's basic needs in a struggling situation. This is a common challenge because most beginners are doing more than they are capable of.

There is a lot of information about Bitcoin, and I think this can make it difficult for beginners to know what they should learn first.
If you had to choose only three lessons for someone who is completely new to Bitcoin what would you choose?

I am especially interested in answers based on real experience rather than just general advice. What did you understood when you first started?

The following are the things that I would very much discuss the benefits and advantages of using cryptocurrency to a beginner in this space:

  • Freedom of payment;
  • Volatility of its value; and
  • Money-making opportunity in the forum.

For the first category, I would explain that the existence of cryptocurrencies make it possible for a person to have freedom on their transactions without any kind of interference from the government or third-party programs. This can easily be explained by providing visual aids or even sending YouTube videos explain its basics and fundamentals.

On the second category, I would explain that the value of BTC is highly-volatile which makes it the perfect investment both as to short or long-term. Though this may be the case, I would be inclined in convincing such person to HODL (or hold) their BTCs and cash them out after a few years from purchase.

Lastly, I would also explain that this forum has the impact of providing an opportunity of earning BTCs primarily through labor and service. You can do certain tasks that pays you in BTC, making it a perfect platform in money-making opportunities.

It's a good feeling for every newbie that they have reliable people around that can give them valuable lessons on how to make use of bitcoin right. But if we try to eliminate these people and let these newbies learn on their own, reflect on their plans and actions, and carefully make bitcoin assessments and cautious decision making, I think that would make them more responsible as bitcoin users.

They won't have to learn from us, but they have to learn from their own mistakes and different experiences with bitcoin. Because at the end of the day, experience will still be their best teacher, not us. That's how newbies should be, learn from the scratch and let's see if they can really overcome the big challenges with bitcoin.
