Hopefully this is an OK place this this topic - it is related to wallet software.. apologies if dice seed gen is not a wallet!!!!

I was a recent victim of the coldcard / coinkite hack. I like the dice generation idea and wanted a second utility to play with for personal edification.

I have created this open source (gpl3) dice mnemonic generation tool. I am open to feedback and willing to make improvements based on suggestions. This is just a community project there is no way to support it and I do not have a financial interest in release. It cost almost nothing but my time to create.

There are already other tools like this one. This was 100% llm generated (opus / glm5.2) other than spec. I did find some features to add.

In addition to feedback, I may eventually work to build for more than just windows. I am really interested in Android...

Features:
- Fully open source, code source is available on github, signed packaged windows build on github but you can inspect and build on your own
- Dice only seed generation - no other randomness
- Fingerprint is shown (in image below)
- QR code gen
- Passphrase is a checkbox to turn on / off - requires double entry
- xpub generation for BIP48 - i haven't messed with this but found it may possibly be helpful
- Standalone .exe can be run on airgapped windows pc
- bigdice-cli.exe is a command line utility for generation

At your current rank you won't be able to post any embedded images. Quoting your own posts won't change that. Only a Jr. Member or higher can quote your post, just like LoyceV did, to display your images on the forum.
