Jayhex, have you already purchased equipment for the new algorithm?

Visit https://www.asicminervalue.com/
Select the desired algorithm and look for ASICs for it, as GPUs won't give you any profit mining this coin.
I don't see any suitable new ASICs for mining.

Have fun staying core

Just as I was planning on, like the other millions of users, have fun with your....<insert name here> coin

Jayhex, have you already purchased equipment for the new algorithm?

He had a bitaxe, his mentor just changed the algo and rendered it useless, so he has two choices, either mine with the real bitcoin or spend money to earn a worthless coin.
You need to be on a new level of stupid to mine a coin with no so many problems, alongside the real troublesome one , no replay protection, no exchange is going to allow that coin to be traded.

looks like so much hashrate has dropped from corechain, and jumped onto blake2b, that blake2b will be the longest chain very shortly. only 2388 blocks behind, and ripping fast. btc is now just a global cbdc

and who is "my mentor"? like u have some crazy idea in your head that u think is reality. who and what are u talking about? thousands of people dumped that legacy chain, and are on the real proof of work chain, which one of them is my "mentor"? why is the legacy chain slowing down and the new chain doing so well? why is it the same 5 mining pools winning all the blocks on the legacy chain? u know, the ones that got behind the scenes orders to not support bip110

Love how ignorant and uneducated the ones that want to fix bitcoin are
- there was no hashrate moving from Bitcoin; current trend is +1/1%
- hash rate from Bitcoin can't move to blake, you can't mine blakelukescamcoin with a SHA-256 ASIC, remember?

that blake2b will be the longest chain very shortly. only 2388 blocks behind, and ripping fast.

I can fork Bitcoin tommorow on my own, set the difficulty to 1, and mine 2000 blocks in an hour with an old miner. I could pass the chain by 1 million blocks, that doesn't make it the chain with the most work! Seriously, educate yourself on the basic stuff!

why is the legacy chain slowing down and the new chain doing so well?

Already explained it and the first one is only in your head.
But no problem, let's speak in two weeks and see what your chain will look like!

u know, the ones that got behind the scenes orders to not support bip110

You mean everyone!

btc is now just a global cbdc

My offer of one of my Lukeblakecoin for one of your cdbc bitcoin on the main chain still stands!

everyone? no. thousands of people signaled for bip110. the 5 top mining pools were told to ignore it. we will see in 2 weeks i guess. why are blocks taking so long on the corechain, then? if people arent bailing out.

you *are* aware that Ocean and Saint Luke have officially parted ways right? They became very upset with his misrepresenting support for his crusade and even more so over his deciding that after bip110 was so overwhelmingly rejected by >97% of the BTC community to switch his ecosystem to Blake2b cutting off all their customers who (wisely) want to stay with sha256 because of their massive investments in hardware. Ocean has dropped the bip110 tag and all association him

the op is likely Luke in disguise trying to get some Blake miners.

why do I say that ? he is pretty much just as nasty as Luke used to  be.

@ op buy a Blake miner. with the sales of your bitcoin miners.

also I asked for this to be moved to alt coin mining

I have learned a lot in just a few weeks because it seems important to me. Interesting things going on behind the scenes that super normies have idea are going on. Nor do I, apparently. Still lots to unfold. I guess this is alts now? I would guess a lot of people who cared about bitcoins fundamentals will be jumping over to the new one, without spam and possibility of SCAM, and backdoor meetings deciding the overall rules. Costs be damned

Not really. All old clients halted at block 961,639. Only upgraded ones follow the Blake chain, which is a hard-fork.

If you have different network rules, then it is easy to have the longer chain, when you count only block numbers. But even if it will be longer, then it won't reorg BTC, because of being incompatible. And it probably won't be longer than eCash, which also didn't reorg BTC, and just dropped the difficulty into one: https://explorer.alpha.ecash.ninja/

Quote
thousands of people dumped that legacy chain
And for some reason, it is still hard to find anyone, willing to sell legacy coins. I wonder why, my BIP-110 coins are waiting for buyers, but it is hard to find any.

Quote
why is the legacy chain slowing down and the new chain doing so well?
Because if you do a hard-fork, then you can change anything, and produce millions of blocks, without any effort. Also, your post is a proof, that you blindly trust the block explorer, because if you would have a BIP-110 full node, then you would instead complain about it being halted at block 961,639.

Quote
thousands of people signaled for bip110
If counting node numbers would be sufficient for consensus changes, then we wouldn't need Proof of Work. It would be "Proof of Node Count" instead, and new rules could be decided by just counting different IP addresses. But this is not how it works, because it is much easier, to allocate many IPs, than to produce many blocks.

Quote
why are blocks taking so long on the corechain, then?
They are produced as usual, every 10 minutes.
