They say information is key and knowledge is potential power. Insider information often wins. That's how the big boys and institutions play. Those who condemn them are just jealous of what they miss. If I belonged to a project group and I got a nudge that there's an incoming news in favour or against the project, a reasonable me would react on that information and profit from it. In the past, I used to take social media shillers' word for it until I realized that most of those dudes weren't even insiders but paid advertisers. I stopped acting on their words after incurring several losses from them. I encourage others not to rely on shillers but insiders' information.

Let's be honest with ourselves. We glorify this institutions as if they know the future. They may have some access to information. But they don't really know the full picture, just like you and I. But if it’s about early access to economic information just as I’ve seen from the replies above, then I’d say that not everyone can get the insider information and having access to informations that sensitive is not an ordinary thing to do, that’s why most people that believe in these Influencers so called “insider info” are not the smart ones because the smart ones know that these kinda information are not cheap things to be passed around like that..

The “smart ones” watch the elite closely and Analyse them, yesterday was certainly a surprising day.. Bitcoin was up around 7% likewise Gold around about 4%  among other digital assets.

I noticed your obsession with the US market. America is the land of opportunities. Many people move from their country to America for a better life and to live with people of the same standard. Where wealth flows, those in the environment who have not attained that level get to tap into the wealth because they are in the environment.

A typical example is the asian polulation in the US. The Vietnamese are into luxury hair, nails, and spa services. The Chinese and Japanese sell most of their ancient heritage herbs and products in the US.

I don't think that large institutions or wealthy investors using derivatives means they are definitely waiting for a big market crash. Because many times futures or options are also used just for hedging. For example leverage and derivatives exposure in the institutional market have really increased recently, but their purpose is not always to be bearish. You see around us, retail traders looking at a futures position thinking that the whale will definitely dump, while big players are simultaneously hedging risk elsewhere.
