Many may say some nations where blessed with diversity of mineral resources which was why they where able to build a better nation while some that has this same minerals even in excess still suffer and never finds way to out smart poverty and unconditional hardship every day.
After seeing this it got me confused and made me think of asking if this same minerals that transformed the developed nations are still the same once in the once swimming in poverty or if there is something the underdeveloped once are missing i all rectification,  so if there is i will be placed if this should be brought to my knowledge.

Having mineral resources alone does not make a country rich or developed, mineral resources is just one among other factors that contribute to a country development, the developed countries you are seeing, achieve that rank and class from years of building a foundation and system that cater for their future problems and support their continued developmental goals, industrialization comes with the availability of resources, but most poor under developed countries failed in transforming the available resources into tangible development in fact the like the industries and company that can even process those raw materials into finished good, the cause of this lack of development is poor leadership low level of education and government clear directions on national interest.

What you've said is just the truth, the utilizations of the communities resources and how it can benefit able to the nation by encouraging developments and job empowerments depends on the qualities of those in the government sectors and as well their missions in the governance.
Some of the community representatives don't make public services as their primary purposes of occupying a governing positions especially after spending so much money in their election's. They feels the citizens has sold or exchanged their rights with the peanuts to shared among hungry citizen's during their election campaign's to vote for them.
When the political or governing system is corrupted, it criples the communities economy and the source of their revenues will be treated like it's a personal owned by the corrupted leader's.

All outlined reasons are true but all including building of a resourceful system,  working towards a developmental goals, industralization and so on can only be achieved if a nation is surrounded by good leaders.  Taken Burkina Faso as a case study,  before this current president Abraham took over power the nation was swimming in poverty even with the existence of all mineral resources but look at them now they are experiencing unexpected changes which was made possible because of good leader that knows what the citizens need.

Many countries have a lot of mineral resources but that does not mean that possessing all this mineral resources can make a nation develop. This resources needs to be fully amd effectively utilized by the leadership of the nation to enable the growth and development of the nation.
