The price just crossed 70k and still looking very bullish, bringing smiles to the faces of those who bought the dip and giving traders some early profits. It would be quite tempting to rush and take little profits of which lots of people cannot resist. This becomes a time that people might allow greed to deny them bigger profits in the long-run. We have learned from the history that Bitcoin is more profitable when held for long, this is because the profits are allowed to compound overtime leading to bigger and better rewards. When you take quick profits from your portfolio, you reduce the quantity of your stash, we need to remember that the bigger the stash, the bigger the possible profits on the long-run.

Capping off profits from your portfolio can be temporarily satisfying, but a bigger profit in the long-term is more satisfying and is only obtainable of you can resist selling prematurely and keep holding, especially as the halving is around the corner and bull run is much likely to follow. The price wouldn't end at$70k, it might still retract a bit, but there's good chances it would recover more and more and make a new ATH. Patience is needed to get better profits from your Bitcoin investment.

It’s too early to claim victory just yet, but it looks like we’ve got a bit of a breather after so many shitty months this year.

The news that the U.S. Treasury will double its long-bond buybacks, from $2 billion to $4 billion per operation, also triggered the price rise. Traders would have to follow up on the trend to ascertain if they can make profits from this current development. For long-term hodlers, I don't see it as a time to take profit because this is just a small rise in price. It will be good not to expect much from the market because my assumption is that we are in the bear season.

I don’t think any real long term holders will actually be paying attention to news like this except maybe a very long term holder who has a price target at $70k to take profit then it’s ok for such investor to follow the plan. But any one without any definite price target, this is considered too early in my opinion I still believe that there will be many ups again in this year even though I don’t expect much this year and would definitely over look any pump this year to take profit.

This recent pump which accumulates to 12% only this week is actually too volatile that I will say it’s a bit hype and within this it will reduce but this actually indicates that we should be expecting an end to the bearish trend if news like this can continue to break out.

I don't know what news that triggered these exchanges to all buy bitcoin in a good quantity yesterday which is what I think led to the pump. Binance bought 4061BTC, Kraken bought 3329BTC, Coinbase bought 6139BTC, OKX bought 1621BTC, Phemex bought 1300BTC and Wintermute bought 1230BTC.

Trump also said that the US is considering to buy more bitcoin and that investors should start buying crypto. I believe with this news, it's enough to make investors start stacking more bitcoin. He also said that the Congress should pass a fair of the clarity act.

Of course, I take advantage of the dip because I know that Bitcoin will never disappoint me. It is not a new thing anymore because it's something that has been happening, and it will definitely make sense when you take advantage and accumulate more Bitcoin without a second thought.

Bitcoin has given us a lot of time, so I think it's those investors that don't have a strong mind about Bitcoin that wouldn't make use of the opportunity, because it was quite interesting to see how the market was moving forward since yesterday till now.

What else am I supposed to do? Store fiat money in a bank? Stablecoins in an Ethereum wallet? Cash bills under the mattress?

I'm not a big fan of the volatility either, but give me a better idea.

FWIW I hedge the volatility by having a trading account on a CEX and actively trading. But holding? Always.

Now the question is how long will this price last? Bitcoin has been very stable for the past few weeks, it seemed like something was going to turn around. At that time, I thought that if there was any good news, the price of Bitcoin could cross $80,000, but bad news could bring Bitcoin down to below $50,000. But due to Trump's crypto talk and some good news, Bitcoin has touched $72,000 so far. I don't think this is a sign of a final bull market, but the price level may increase, meaning Bitcoin may stabilize above $70,000 until the next bull run. That's my guess.

Bitcoin bullish trend is still ongoing and I think the market will continue to move in a bullish direction for a few more days. I am saying that this rise in Bitcoin price may not be long term but I also predict that probably it will see more than one ATH this year.

A very greedy period is passing, especially for traders or those who have accumulated Bitcoin for the long term. It is not easy to control yourself during this greedy period after the long term correction period has passed. Bitcoin price history shows that it has repeatedly rewarded long term investors and will continue to do so in the future. It would be best not to withdraw Bitcoin in the hope of getting these short term and small-sized profits. I agree with you. Trump makes statements about the Iran war almost every day, and I have not heard anything serious except empty words. Trump is powerful on the battlefield, but it is very understandable that he is failing in the Iran war. Benjamin Netanyahu is only provoking Donald Trump and he is using his force. In the past (Initial stage of iran war), making a statement about ending the war would have shown a bullish attitude in the market, but as this war has become longer, Trump's words no longer have much impact on the market. An elite class has made huge profits by reducing or increasing the price of oil and gold during the initial period of the war. During that time, a class of traders also made significant profits from crypto. Now it seems to me that it has become important for Trump to continue this war to control the world's important market system.
