The price just crossed 70k and still looking very bullish, bringing smiles to the faces of those who bought the dip and giving traders some early profits. It would be quite tempting to rush and take little profits of which lots of people cannot resist. This becomes a time that people might allow greed to deny them bigger profits in the long-run. We have learned from the history that Bitcoin is more profitable when held for long, this is because the profits are allowed to compound overtime leading to bigger and better rewards. When you take quick profits from your portfolio, you reduce the quantity of your stash, we need to remember that the bigger the stash, the bigger the possible profits on the long-run.

Capping off profits from your portfolio can be temporarily satisfying, but a bigger profit in the long-term is more satisfying and is only obtainable of you can resist selling prematurely and keep holding, especially as the halving is around the corner and bull run is much likely to follow. The price wouldn't end at$70k, it might still retract a bit, but there's good chances it would recover more and more and make a new ATH. Patience is needed to get better profits from your Bitcoin investment.

I don’t think any real long term holders will actually be paying attention to news like this except maybe a very long term holder who has a price target at $70k to take profit then it’s ok for such investor to follow the plan. But any one without any definite price target, this is considered too early in my opinion I still believe that there will be many ups again in this year even though I don’t expect much this year and would definitely over look any pump this year to take profit.

This recent pump which accumulates to 12% only this week is actually too volatile that I will say it’s a bit hype and within this it will reduce but this actually indicates that we should be expecting an end to the bearish trend if news like this can continue to break out.

I don't know what news that triggered these exchanges to all buy bitcoin in a good quantity yesterday which is what I think led to the pump. Binance bought 4061BTC, Kraken bought 3329BTC, Coinbase bought 6139BTC, OKX bought 1621BTC, Phemex bought 1300BTC and Wintermute bought 1230BTC.

Of course, I take advantage of the dip because I know that Bitcoin will never disappoint me. It is not a new thing anymore because it's something that has been happening, and it will definitely make sense when you take advantage and accumulate more Bitcoin without a second thought.

Bitcoin has given us a lot of time, so I think it's those investors that don't have a strong mind about Bitcoin that wouldn't make use of the opportunity, because it was quite interesting to see how the market was moving forward since yesterday till now.

Now the question is how long will this price last? Bitcoin has been very stable for the past few weeks, it seemed like something was going to turn around. At that time, I thought that if there was any good news, the price of Bitcoin could cross $80,000, but bad news could bring Bitcoin down to below $50,000. But due to Trump's crypto talk and some good news, Bitcoin has touched $72,000 so far. I don't think this is a sign of a final bull market, but the price level may increase, meaning Bitcoin may stabilize above $70,000 until the next bull run. That's my guess.

I agree with you. Trump makes statements about the Iran war almost every day, and I have not heard anything serious except empty words. Trump is powerful on the battlefield, but it is very understandable that he is failing in the Iran war. Benjamin Netanyahu is only provoking Donald Trump and he is using his force. In the past (Initial stage of iran war), making a statement about ending the war would have shown a bullish attitude in the market, but as this war has become longer, Trump's words no longer have much impact on the market. An elite class has made huge profits by reducing or increasing the price of oil and gold during the initial period of the war. During that time, a class of traders also made significant profits from crypto. This explains why Bitcoin was rising as if we have entered bullish season, because before now we no that Bitcoin have been so stagnated within $60k to $63k but I was shocked to see how it has gone high considering what the price was on the last few hours I checked it. I'm not concerned about Donald Trump news because that's his way of making Bitcoin price to rise and fall again but however I'm also more surprised that all this exchanges decided to buy a large quantity of Bitcoin at the same time, perhaps I believe it wasn't because of Donald Trump news they started buying but could be that they saw a future potential of the price in buying now.

During this prolonged dip, I only made one purchase when Bitcoin was priced at $60k. I had planned to buy again, but didn’t get around to it because I thought this month might still end with Bitcoin at $60k-$65k. Yes I did that is because dip is a good time to buy bitcoin. So I make sure that I try as much I can to take advantage of the dip to stack bitcoin as much as I can afford or my reserve fund can buy at that moment.

What a massive profit for those that have bought when the market for at $60,000 they would have been in profit by now depending on the value at which they have invested into bitcoin, if they can sell today at $72,000 and still went back to invest at $60,000 and continue with the process like this, they will make more profits as long as the follow up with the market trend to know when to sell and the exact position to buy from.

I don't see anything wrong on whether an investor chooses to either hold those Bitcoins even longer instead of cashing out now, or just cashing out now. I mean it all depends on how long do we plan to hold those Bitcoins.

For me, I've already cashed out the Bitcoins that I held for weeks, and I made some small buckos. I don't regret doing it, because I'm only holding it for the short term, and just for context, I have a separate wallet for Bitcoin that I hold for the long-term. There's a thing called "Spot Traders" where they're maximizing every pump that Bitcoin does, and if you will let me choose on which one I will be doing between buying low and selling high and just buy and hold for the long term, I'll do the 2nd one, but if I can do both, why not?

If you're capable of doing some spot trading just for a small profit then do it. At the same time, have a separate wallet where you'll be holding some Bitcoins for there for long-term hold. Do both if you can.

As the price of Bitcoin clamps to 71k based on the today price, it keeps giving hope to the holders, and also i let people know that bitcoin price is unpredictable, many people is giving up, thinking that bitcoin price will keep falling not knowing that price of Bitcoin can change at any time...we have experienced so many times bitcoin falls and also rises, so whosoever that's investing in bitcoin should know that the price is not stagnant, it changes, due to the current market determinants...

You know what's completely nonsensical about that statement? Well, the US has never officially purchased a single BTC - everything they have is the result of various seizures. Given that he uses his position to enrich himself and his family, this is another such example.

Those who knew how to take advantage of the bear market bought even below $60k, and there were so many opportunities that it seems very stupid for someone to say "buy now".

And I have no definite time and price of when I'll start to sell. I'll hold while I can and I'll try to keep my promise to myself to follow that long term holding.
