During this prolonged dip, I only made one purchase when Bitcoin was priced at $60k. I had planned to buy again, but didn’t get around to it because I thought this month might still end with Bitcoin at $60k-$65k. I don't see anything wrong on whether an investor chooses to either hold those Bitcoins even longer instead of cashing out now, or just cashing out now. I mean it all depends on how long do we plan to hold those Bitcoins.

For me, I've already cashed out the Bitcoins that I held for weeks, and I made some small buckos. I don't regret doing it, because I'm only holding it for the short term, and just for context, I have a separate wallet for Bitcoin that I hold for the long-term. There's a thing called "Spot Traders" where they're maximizing every pump that Bitcoin does, and if you will let me choose on which one I will be doing between buying low and selling high and just buy and hold for the long term, I'll do the 2nd one, but if I can do both, why not?

If you're capable of doing some spot trading just for a small profit then do it. At the same time, have a separate wallet where you'll be holding some Bitcoins for there for long-term hold. Do both if you can.

If a holder wants to hold for long years, then holding makes sense right now. Because even if it doesn't go great in the next few months as I expect, they could hold for years and then sell when the bull run comes. However, if they are not sure what's going to happen, and they do not know what to do, then I do not think that we could see this becoming a situation that would be that easy to see. I think the reality is that we are going to see situations like this for a long time, and for that reason the best we can handle right now would be making sure that we are holding long term if we decide to hold.

However, if they are going to sell the moment they see a drop, then they should not be holding right now and should sell. If the entire reason they are holding right now is because htey think in the short term they are going to profit, they should not do that and sell and get out, because in a few months it could crash, and if they are not willing to wait it out, then they should not be holding now either and just sell.

Right now, BTC is trading around $77k and has been bouncing between $72k–$79k in just one day, all thanks to the strong inflows into ETFs and the positive crypto regulatory sentiment (CLARITY Act chatter) as well as a short squeeze that squeezed out a ton of counter-trend positions.
