Report from Bloomberg says that lots of whales are buying than selling and over $2.9billion worth of Bitcoins has been added into the market in the past days, it could be the why the market is pumping so high and have even reached $70k. The current pump is attracting more people into the market even traders are going long.

Could this be a signal that Bitcoin is about going higher or just another short term pump to attract more retails into the market then we'll see it go back below $65k again?

I know investors need not to worry whether price drops or not so that question is mostly directed to traders, let me hear your opinion.

I don't think we shall go so much high. In the past few days Bitcoin have become so last volatile and there was a noticeable momentum squeeze. What was most likely to happen was a breakout which did happen. The challenge was figuring out whether it was breaking out downwards or upwards.

So maybe a movement in the 70,000's zone, and then we will see another boring sideways movement for days or weeks and then back to the 60,000's

I think the massive price pump is due to news recently about the U.S. Treasury it's a buyback program improving market liquidity. The operation will start Sept. 9, which leads to attracting investors.

The pump is not done yet and might repeat again in the London session or NY session until next month.

For technical analysis the price was rejected at $70k, which is where the 50% Fibonacci retracement is placed; we might get another pump this coming next week to the $73k level, but I have two scenarios about this: it could be a bull trap, or if the price breaks $73k, there's a chance that it would continue to pump, but if not, and if it's a bull trap, also expect a massive price dump.

Remember how the 1st and 2nd quarter? It might be similar to what is going on in 3rd quarter.

I would like to point out first that the market is volatile and unpredictable, and therefore it is best to stay away from betting on market movement, as we witnessed yesterday the liquidation of about $1.2 billion in futures contracts within hours by those who were betting on Bitcoin continuing to fall.

But does anyone not surprised to see Bitcoin climbing back to $70k's zone? For me that is a quick jump from $65k as we have been pumping in the last couple days. I am from a time when Bitcoin would jump by 20 to 30% in a day and it was normal 

For me that is a quick jump from $65k as we have been pumping in the last couple days. And it doesn't matter now if we are in a weekend or not, but before when it's weekend, buyers are in a rest and there's not much of a movement.

Trust me, it's going to slow down doing the weekend. Once Friday is done, you will come here and remind me whether I am right ot wrong.

This is because these whales understand how the market works. They know that this is the best and perfect time to buy and accumulate massively, so then are catching in on the Dip. One thing that most people don't know is that these whales are not bothered about what happens in the market, like what most people do when ever there is a change in the price of the market.


Another way we should consider is that these whales to a large extent , manipulates the market in their favor so that they can buy in large quantities when eventually the market favor. This should be a very big lesson because if these big whales can still be accumulate despite the uncertainties that sorrounds the bitcoin price, then there is something that they are seeing that most of us ate not seeing.

I don't think they need to understand how the market works since they already know how it works. This is not because of the timing to massively accumulate more. Like my previous post above this is because of the announcement yesterday about the U.S. Treasury buyback operation that will start next month. That news is high impact, and as a promise, they are going to buy back the reason why many investors accumulate early to take advantage of buying BTC at a cheap price.

The pump is huge and may signal a major shift in direction but it is yet to be confirmed because this is not he first time Bitcoin is pumping yet returned to the range. If he rise continues above $85k, then there will be hope of getting to $100k. The coming weeks is very crucial for Bitcoin because the price action will give a clearer picture of where price is heading to with the present bullish momemtum.

The market is currently trading $77,500 as I make this post which truly is convince able that whalers are buying aggressive at this times.
Since the bullish signals, criticisms or news that would create fears that are potential to manipulate other investors especially ones investing small to sell, it had been some reverse is the case are the ongoing events is more of attracting more buys.

Traders will always keep their eyes up tracking the markets price movements so that they can sell at profits especially temporary or mysterious bullish times like this will be attentive to sell at higher profits before the price begins to fall at its unpredictability.
Long term holders will continue to hold with less concerns about the current possessions.

Well to get to $90k we have to deal with the push back around $80k to roughly $83k, after then we can think of $90k and beyond maybe $100k as you’ve mentioned [doubt that anyway.. atleast for now].

Till then I think we are just going to decline slowly if the stop chooses 79.5k ,  get back to the normal swing   with a decline in excitement from bulls. The bears already got some massive liquidations already, today alone is close to $700M already

I think it's important to see that if there's now a change on this bear market and it's about to end soon, we'd see those pushes from those prices.

Sounds about right, I'm seeing a parallel move in gold and BTC and it does make me think its big money rather then consumer level buying that tends to go on a hype crescendo.
  Dollar index lost 2% this month and bonds are in some sell state with worries about excess spending and global balance with Japan especially.  All those global macro economic considerations would be the conversational piece of very big money people and various holders in large finance entities, not the small buyers BTC has in the millions but the select money at the top.

I have read somewhere that it is the US proposed policy for cryptocurrency that is pumping the market currently, I couldn’t agree fully much to it since I haven’t even gone through to check the legitimacy of the claim. Bitcoin has really shown a big boost this few days and this is really what many have been waiting for bitcoin.

The bull came as a surprise but we can’t tell how long it is going to wait up like this, there is more to this if I’m not mistaken. We have seen how the market has been moving, there was no signs of a bull whatsoever, but fortunately we’ve seen the market move so rapidly that it breaks some resistance so quickly. Still observing to see the direction the market will be headed in few weeks from now again.
