This is quite a long page since it has lots of pages but the data shows that :
Total revenue: $17.538B

MGM total net income:
$520.872M

Net income attributable to MGM shareholders:
$205.862M

So it is actually not that big an amount as we think if we are just looking at the total revenue, there are lots of expenses and maintenance too specially this is a land-based casino.  I think online casinos pay less in maintenance so they can probably have a better net profit.

This data of casinos income is truly not enough reason for anyone to assume that the casino is a profitable business. Just like every other kinds of business, there are usually some big business people that everyone look up to, and there are still the struggling ones in thesame line of business that wish to make it just like the big guys. The difference is that the big guys may just be enjoying a long brand building advantage and sacrifices outsiders do not see.

So, anyone who wants to go into the gambling business must do his research well, invest in promotions and incentives that will attract traffic. Business profits are not earned by mere admiring profitable businesses of others.

As much as I agree with you guys own the difference in running cost between physical casino and online casino, we must also agree with the fact that as much as there is revenue and traffic inflow so also the outflow, we can't deny the fact that casino operations is high profits ventures.


We should also agree that very expensive to run a casino, that is why we most often spot casinos that previously run a legit platform suddenly becoming scam when the amount is huge in players winnings, liquidity is drained because of multiple expenses on the casino and only the most reputable ones can keep surviving.
