Powell was never the SEC chair. He was the Fed chair. You probably mean Gensler, right? Anyway bro, he had good intentions with BTC, and he proved to be a well educated person in the subject of BTC, and he values it even, but what he did not like was the idea of other alts, which he considered securities, and that's for a reason.
So I don't think the kind of adoption for alts that has been paved by the current administration would have been paved in the era of Gensler, but there is always a time which comes to an end for the higher and lower powers both.
So don't be selfish and do something to stay in power all the time. Accept the time's defeat.
