I can't imagine the number of assets lost in traditional currency due to the incidence of inflation over there economy, while challenges like this are a part of what makes everyone almost consider the use of a decentralized digital network with Bitcoin, because there will always be a certain future where what you have invested in has a value that always appreciates instead of diminishing with time.

Blackrock may not hold the coins continuously, it all depends on the market situation. If there is more sell, you will the more bitcoin ETF outflow. But if people are buying, you will see more bitcoin ETF inflow.

If you mean that people are not selling and the ETF continues to increase, definitely it would be a very good thing.

The future is basically very uncertain, I disagree with you on this but if we invest our money into something, for example Bitcoin, we must have knowledge about it, belief in its bright future, then we have our plans with Bitcoin and our Bitcoin portfolios.

Bitcoin is bullish if we ignore noises with short timeframe charts and look at Bitcoin price in very long term timeframe chart like yearly candle.

It does not matter for institutions that still believe in history repeating itself. They should be thinking of ways to try to reduce losses, perhaps through DCA. I believe BlackRock has funds they could utilize. So they should not just remain silent and merely try to guide opinions that Bitcoin will reach a new ATH through social media. Or do they not have investment advisors? Ah, it would be very bad if that is true. At present, the opportunity for accumulation is very open, so they should wisely take advantage of this price decline to try to reduce losses from purchases made at ATH.

I have read that the inflow of ETF funds is much greater than the outflow. This means that investors have strong confidence in the ETF. Consequently, it seems that in the first few weeks of August, the BTC price remained very strong because the ETF inflow was substantial, and it even appears that there was no outflow.

And I think if the crypto clarity bill gets passed, then the crypto market can turn into a more bullish sentiment, in my opinion. People have already started accumulating Bitcoin again, so it would not be wrong to say that right now Bitcoin is in its accumulation phase, right? So when more money enters the market, then the chances are higher market starts to pump again. And when more money enters the market, manipulators also get awakened, and then they start their game, so during that time we need to be more cautious while doing trading due to the increasing rate of volatility. When you look at the history of Bitcoin, you'll understand that the 50% dump below the ATH was surely going to be a temporary action of the market so yes, Bitcoin price will surely appreciate over time.

When you look at the correct chart like the one that's attached to @BlackBoss_ post , it gives you good perspective of Bitcoin's volatility but to someone new to Bitcoin,  a 30-50% drop can look very frightening. In the past, we've witnessed similar corrections but they still recovered.

This however does not mean that Bitcoin's future is guaranteed but it show why long-term conviction actually matters.

This information is interesting because it reminds people about something that was new and historic in the previous market cycle. Before the previous bear market, Bitcoin did not fall back to below its previous market cycle's ATHs but the bear market in 2022 and 2023 made that new thing.

Then in this market cycle, this bear market, people no longer talked about Bitcoin will never fall below its previous cycle's ATH that is about $60k. That's how market is always changing with time and how it is very unpredictable.

Usually this year will be still bearish and the bear market will not end too early like this but if another history is made, we know what to do. In fact, if we understand the unpredictability of the market, they will not try to predict like when this cycle's bear market will end and they will do accumulation with time, that is better, no more headache, no more prediction challenge.

If you refer with "chances" to a high ROI if you invest now, for me it's the other way around.

It feels of course better and "safer" if you invest in a bullish situation. But very often, when blood is in the streets, then it's a good moment to buy, because the lower the price, the lower the risk. With two exceptions: first, if the blood comes after a prolonged bull market, then it's often a trend change and you should wait a bit. And second, if the crash comes due to real fundamental problems like a severe bug or a harsh regulation in an important market then it may be more fundamental.

The best phase to buy may be a long depression where everybody thinks BTC is going to zero. We had such a phase just after the Saylor sale. I personally think those who bought at below 60k made a very good deal.

BTW, the X post is very likely related to the report Blackrock published yesterday which is already discussed here. It is quite an interesting document, it also talks about the fact that Bitcoin despite of all the perceived correlation with US stocks still moves independently (not as "contrarian" as gold, but more so than many commodities). Of course BlackRock has a stake in Bitcoin so they are not a neutral entity, that's why nobody should interpret it as a "confirmation" for a bull trend, only as a collection of possible arguments.

Yup, the best time frame to buy bitcoin is when we feel like stagnant and nothing really happening apart from prices going sideways and we see news like this is the end of bitcoin and in the same way the best time to sell is everyone being bullish with bitcoin, we see the tags of buy bitcoin everywhere we turn our heads.

Blackrock is into business and wouldn't hold those bitcoin till the bull run if they see a good pump in price because they're after making profit and nothing more. Nobody knows if this is a bull trap so, let's not get excited yet but patiently watch the next movement of the buy. I am still DCAing.

A few days ago I read a news article where the analyst predicted a much worse scenario in the coming weeks, so I said to myself: "I'll analyze the chart and decide for myself as always," and I did. I analyzed the chart and concluded that I should buy because I could profit in the coming weeks or months. So, with yesterday's price increase, I bought more. What I mean by this is that at the end of the day, it's much better to trust yourself than to be buying or selling because some large company like BlackRock is doing it.

With the current price of $72,000, it's obvious that anyone who buys at that price, or who bought when the price was $60,000, can easily double their profit when the price reaches $125,000. Of course, if you buy at $72,000, you'll have to wait until it reaches $144,000 to double your profit. The biggest difficulty, in my opinion, is making a profit of 3x or more; I honestly don't see the price going above $200,000.

'Everyone' is an over statement in my opinion.  Most people do not care about Bitcoin and do not even know what it is about.

I like how you are very confident in saying this but make sure you do not lie to your self and set your self up for failure.  There is no real guarantee, we are all simply part of this experiment hoping it will continue to work even 50 or 100 years from now.

Sadly, some people prefer to buy Bitcoin when the news about its price increase is all over the internet. They want to just jump in fast to make a quick profit since they expect the price to keep increasing. It was mainly on the forum that I was hearing about buying the dip. On some other platforms, news about Bitcoin hitting the rock was more popular.

The slogan " don't follow the crowd best explains Bitcoin investment. Only a few people have the knowledge of how the market works. The majority are those who think crypto investments are a get-rich-quick scheme.

DCA remains one of the best accumulation strategies because it gives you better chances of buying the dip.

Their incentive must also be considered. BlackRock manage client money. So their objective will never be like that of long term  hodler. Hmm, they can be bullish. They can also rebalance or sell according to mandate. So there is nothing to be too excited about this kind of statement by BlackRock.

Speaking of halving, the traditional four year cycle has changed a lot since institutional money came into market. When BlackRock or other Wall Street giant are in market, they do not just buy and hodl, they can shake out the market quite well by booking profit on the opportunity. So we may not see same cycle in next halving.

Blackrock has never actually held Bitcoin, as they don't invest in it, but rather act as custodial.. so, if necessary, they might sell some of their Bitcoin holdings.. for example, a few months ago, they sold more Bitcoin to buy Ethereum, and they might do so again in the future. but with their current position as a major ETF provider, they probably won't do that rashly and will be more careful with their decisions.. since they also make a lot of money from providing custody services.

While it is true that the bull will come, I would not assume that it will happen right now, not in a few months. I think you are right; the bull run will start after the 2028 halving, so if BlackRock wants to hold, they need to make sure that they can hold that long. While I am sure you all think that BlackRock is rich enough that they can hold as long as they want, because let's face it, they are controlling trillions, even funding wars around the world to make more profit.

But the reality is, they can hold as much as their investors desire; if their investors want to get out, BlackRock can't force them to stay; they have to get out; they have to make sure they are out; otherwise, they would be committing a crime. So it is not about what BlackRock wants; it is about what BlackRock could convince their investors to do, and these types of posts are for that reason: to make sure people are aware that BlackRock wants them to hold until 2028 and beyond.
