To answer your question, it's not about the timing. I don't know if you have heard about the concept of DCA (Dollar Cost Average). With this strategy, it totally reduces the impact of price fluctuation. So it doesn't matter if Bitcoin is $70k right now or going to $150k next year. So you don't have to time the market, as whether we have reached the bottom or not.

What's important is that you constantly buy within your means and then look at the bigger picture and hold for a long time.

Waiting for price to come down before buying is only limiting you to opportunity, like no body saw this sudden event happing soon, we all were expecting it to be around October but one action by the US government triggered the bitcoin price and it’s already flying again. What I will do? I'll just do what every other pro here does. I'll wait for it to pump to $180k, FOMO my entire life savings at the absolute local top, and then panic sell when it inevitably dumps back to $90k.

If you're on a long term Bitcoin investment I think that you shouldn't worry about when Bitcoin will reach $150k, it could be this month, this year or in a couple of years, so far the timeframe that you have in mind to start taking some profits have not reached you should continue to accumulate because it's not as if you plan to sell within a short timeframe. If you want to get yourself off the worrying zone you can do DCA strategy and not bother about monitoring the market and how soon another ATH will be seen, although positive news is great for Bitcoin to atleast assure you as an investor that Bitcoin still have the potentials to reach ATH aside from that you should just focus on buy and hold. With Bitcoin, all you have to do is be patient and hold it for the long term. It's mostly volatile in the short term. It would have been a different case if, in the long term, the price didn't increase. What we all know is that "it's a matter of time". Well I don't think that it is a wise idea to wait for the price of bitcoin to come down to $70k before you can buy if it eventually reach $150k like you do speculate,my reason is because you are not sure if the price will fall back to $70k again after it has climb to $150k. Bitcoin movements is unpredictable so waiting for the dip before you buy bitcoin doesn't sound ideal to me although it is your right to accumulate bitcoin like you want but if you want to accumulate a great stash of bitcoin then I think you should accumulate bitcoin regardless of the price. You shouldn't wait for it to dip because you might miss alot of good opportunity to buy bitcoin at a good price.

I doubt Bitcoin will come down to $70k if possibly it gets to $150k by August next year. From $150k , it could dip to $100k  or $90k before going to the peak price of the main bull season. It's best to start accumulating now and wait for the price to get to your target($150k), you don't have to wait until it gets to $150k before you start waiting again for it to go down to $70k so that you can biuy, what happened to buying now using the DCA?

Even as you mentioned, if Bitcoin enters at $150k after 12 months, it will fall back to $70k, there is no answer to this question. The price can also fall lower than this, it is not unusual. This is human for you. The ask and need answers to every given market movement: why this is so about Bitcoin(uptrend and downtrend), and what the price will become at a speculated time.
