When an information is being passed especially when it has to do with a beginner breaking a forum rule it might seem harsh but everything that's said to them is to correct them so they can put in more effort and do better. Getting discouraged is never an option because everyone knows the benefits of being in the forum. It is very important to prioritize reading as a beginner to guide you so you don't make careless mistakes. It is impossible to know everything at the beginning but with time you can gradually make improvements I'd you learn.
When the beginners join the forum so sometime they consider correction a harsh feedback and became disheart actually these correction improve our posting quality but newbie become so emotional due to these corrections no one can learn all the rules in one day it takes time .
Inasmuch as newbies can’t learn the rules of the forum everyday it would be advised they keep an eye on the rules each day in other to get it attached to their memory. And it’s not a matter of knowing the rules alone but the most important thing is the adhere to them because most mistake can get one’s account banned permanently.Just as @rachael9385 has said, there are a lot of benefits that comes from being a member of this forum,so it would be so painful if you let you account go down because of ignorance,so lastly I would encourage every newbie to become familiar with the forum rules even as it wouldn’t take a day to be conversant with them and also adhere to them because a penalty is attached to each rule when violated.
Your point of view is very obvious that id we do not follow the rules of this forum then there is a risk of losing account knowing the rules is one thing but adopting these rules in our dailly life save us from permanent ban .
Losing your account just because of a user ignorance is really painful temporary efforts keep our account save and its also increase our learning skills so we should regularly follow the forum rules to save our hardwork and struggle.

Getting discouraged wont change the forum from what it is, the forum is concerned in maintaining it to exist for the purpose why it is being created. The forum is for those who are ready to learn and to follow the rules and regulations. If the forum choose not to go by their rules and members do whatever they like i dont think this place will be like the kind of place where we want to be. The forum must keep to its standard and let those who can learn to meet with the standard of the forum occupy and for those who find it difficult and cant meet with the standard,  their is nothing that can be done but to face the consequences of breaking the rule.
