I see this current pump as a transition from $60,000 markets range up to $70,000 market price, it's indeed a bullrun because it happens within a short period of time unlike when it take up to weeks before you experience such a massive pump, this is not also a sudden reaction whereby we expect to fall the same direction at which it rises, now we can see that we are close to $80,000 market price and $78,000 market price.
We can't say yet that it's the bull run although that jump from $60kish to $70kish and about to hit the $80k is really a bullish move. While I am not yet saying that we're in a bull run, things like this is very normal for Bitcoin. This is why we like how volatile it is because of movements like this. But then, I'll wait further to see how it will be later for this month and how it will end. Although the basis for it should be until the end of the year, imo.

This is just my observation, but it seems Bitcoin really becomes bullish most of the time in the last quarter of the year.

Anyway, how do you see this? Is this already the bull run that we have been waiting for, or just another pump? Give some technical aspects or justification if you have too, let us understand this.
A 22% pump in the last 7 days for me is something that's considered "rare" knowing how high the price of Bitcoin already is, but not impossible at least. As of this moment, Bitcoin didn't even touch $80,000 yet, and by the time I'm making this post, it's already starting to correct with it's price sits at the $77,000 price level. I will not be surprised as well, but that's a resistance so I already expect some sellers stepping in to sell their tokens or make a short position.

How do I see this? It's just a normal pump that happened because of some news online. We will have a correction in the upcoming days that's for sure, and this? This isn't the pump that we need for the market to enter the bull run. We are still in a bear market let's not forget. If this is the bull run that many are waiting then I would say that the 4-year cycle has been broken, but I don't see it that way. Technical aspects? I already made some chart analysis and I see the prices of $73,000, $70,000 and $68,000 as potential supports (2 FVGs and 1 psychological support).

Please let's not get carried away, and will say that we are already heading in a bull market just because we saw a ~22% pump in the last 7 days. Let's look at the broader picture.

Its a spike just now but I believe will be proven and develop into a bull run, that takes time which is the special ingredient in everything great.   A price spike is just volatility, almost a mistake so it has to be confirmed over time and volume to become valid and lasting effect in the wider market.   Thats the process for the rest of this year.

A valid sign in every great price change is not the peak or highest prices but the fallback and confirmation, the mid price is more important.  We have to establish support at some point lower then the peak, in this process the trend becomes more likely to continue the gain rather then be a one off.

No, it's not the bull run we have been waiting for because we are not closed to the end of the four years circle. It's probably just a pump that may take the price of Bitcoin to 100k, but looking at the chart on a technical side, on a monthly timeframe, it has already gone past the $75k resistance, but if it closes above it, then it would be obvious that the downward trend has changed, but since it has not closed above it yet, I will take it as still a down trend because you cannot be certain on what may happen in the coming days, so until the end of the month when the candle stick is going to close, I will not just conclude if the trend has changed or not.

This is just a trailer, I think we are very close to  the  bull run now, in past three move we've not seen Bitcoin move in this direction so fast.

As per CMC, Bitcoin is now up around 22% in the last 7 days. That kind of pump I have not seen for the past months, as mostly Bitcoin was just staying below $70k.

But now it is pumping, and it has been over 24 hours already and still looks very consistent. Honestly, I would not even be surprised if it will hit $80k again.

This is just my observation, but it seems Bitcoin really becomes bullish most of the time in the last quarter of the year.

Anyway, how do you see this? Is this already the bull run that we have been waiting for, or just another pump? Give some technical aspects or justification if you have too, let us understand this.

After a long period of stable market conditions, we have seen that the market has skyrocketed in the last few days. Where the market has fallen from $63k--$79k, although the market has not touched $80k yet, we can see that the market is going down a little bit.
We cannot confirm from the market movement whether we have actually entered a bull run or not, looking at the market situation, it seems that we have not entered it yet.
Although the market increased a lot in the last 24 hours and stabilized, the market is moving down a little again, in which case there is a possibility that the market will go down a little more. However, if the market continues to change shape in this way and gradually stabilizes, then by the end of the year, I think it will be possible to touch $100k.
According to the current market situation, we can assume that it is not that bull run now, but it is a matter of time, but it seems that the market will go higher.

Well, it fell really deep, so I think it's just normal that the next thing should be going back up. As I said in my other replies on almost the same topic, $60k could be the new bottom, and we are now seeing evidence that buyers are trying to ride the boat again.

I am glad for those who bought at a lower price. It's not easy to get the courage to buy without knowing what is ahead. Now, they can either reap the rewards, or they can stay because it's probably not over, and we might experience a bit more upward movement.

The fall is just the part of current market scenario to me; I do not know when it will happen. I am not sure if it will happen in the next ten days during the end of August and all that, or if it will wait until September and then happen. I have no idea. But I am pretty sure that we will go back under 70k once more but I feel like that we will never go under 60k any more.

We just need to wait for it; something close to 63k is seeming impossible, and I have a feeling that bulls will dominate from here. I believe this is even right now. I do not understand how this could be something that could be very dangerous; the reality is that we are not going to end up getting anything that would be clear of showing us what it will be; there is none. It will never show us what it can be, but we can make predictions and assume what will happen, and this is just another speculation based on what we experience on every cycle.

Honestly the uptrend was really massive and no one was expecting that kind of move from Bitcoin this period considering how it has been ranging though it is normal for price to move massively after a resistance ior support is been broken but the move was something else. I think there was not much pull back when it was moving upward which means that it will come down a bit to liquidate some folks and then continue it upward movement that is what I think will happen because I'm not sure it will come down to the formal price before this high.

The momentum seems to be decent so far. We saw the rise from about $64k all the way to $79k and then we had a correction which keeps the rise healthy by bringing the price down only a little to $75k. If the trend continues like this, the next resistance we are going to test this coming week is going to be $80k and if that is broken, then the next leg up can be even bigger because that kind of "resistance breaking" will bring in a lot more money due to their returned confidence in bitcoin's near future rises...

We can't say yet that it's the bull run although that jump from $60kish to $70kish and about to hit the $80k is really a bullish move. I also go with this your point on the current state of the market. We have until the end of the year before we can even get to conclude on which direction the market is currently trending. Asides the state of the market going bullish after a bear market rally, there are other factors that contribute to the state of the market becoming even more bullish at some point even before we reach the bullish market. I am viewing this state of the market as another situation where market tends to adapt and react to some changes externally that are indirectly affecting the market movement too. How long this bullish rally lasts is basically how we can tend to agree or disagree the current state of the market.

I have been wanting to know the reason for this massive pump within these few days but I do not have a concrete reason for that. Now I am seeing that it's because of Trump's stance on crypto. But Trump's stance has been so obvious, why is it generating new friction again.

Does anyone else actually know the reason for this pump. I would really want to know... Before now, bitcoin can rally naturally and we are happy. But now, by the nature of the industry, every rally must be caused by something.
Yes, you're right. I think that since there was already this bullish impulse thanks to Trump, many investors decided to invest a little more money, and that's the reason for this bull run.

The best thing is that the price might stay in the upper reaches. It's already broken through the significant and tough $64k barrier, which suggests it's already out of that range, and that's a big advantage. I think it's very likely that it could rise and approach $100k again.

A 22% growth alone doesn't mean we are in the bull run again, because we have just come out of a bull run a few months ago, and it's not logically possible for the market to deliver another bull run this soon. The growth has surely brought some positivity in the market after months have passed for the market going sideways, but I think this is just a temporary thing, most probably, because if the bull starts right now when we know that halving is scheduled for April, 2028, then I don't know what we can expect this time around.

I personally think people should take it easy, because this can change anytime from positive to negative, and those who buy right now may have to regret it if that happens. I'm not talking about those who are into DCAing, because they surely shouldn't care because they can buy more if the market drops again, but those who are one-time buyers, and thinking that they might not get this price again if bull run starts, I think there is still time for the bull run to start, we are not even in 2027 yet.

To be honest, it’s too early to consider a bull run. It would be a bull trap and on the other hands a plan for short liquidation. Remember, whether shorts or longs are liquidated, the market will shake. As we can see, Bitcoin has been almost stable for a few months; unless there is no liquidity balance, then we may not see a bull run again.

For me, I don’t consider it a bull run. We have to wait more to see how investors are reacting. Once big investors think it’s time to accumulate big amounts, then they would start accumulating, which would lead to another bull market. It’s all about investors' minds, which depend on many factors.

Bitcoin has been down for quite a long time which makes it look like the current upward trend is the bull run will have been waiting for, no it's not. I see this movement as a normal bitcoin movement but if it keeps increasing and stays above $80k for some weeks without touching back in the region of $70k, then we can say that bitcoin is gearing up for a bull run and it won't take a lot of time for the bull run we have been waiting to arrive or return.

The price push happened suddenly, and I never expected it to hold its ground within $75k. After it had reached $79k before dropping down, I was expecting it to go below that level, since few people were calling the growth a trap, but because of the way it has remained stagnant within $77k there is more chances that the next move will be upward and we might likely go above $80k

We will see it in the longer view when it stays above $70k for a little longer. The speculation starts at that because there can be more bad or good news to come and it will affect the market basically. But right now, we all like what it is showing and if someone has to take profit and happy with it, do it. Yet to me, it's not yet the right time to make some profits because with the little, I hold, the movement of my portfolio didn't do that much. I can say that I am happy with the paper gains but that remains as is until I start cashing out but I won't do any of it until the next actual bull run.

Political narratives are noise on a very short term basis only.
You are right. Usually, the pump caused by an issue like political narratives, it will be temporary only. So, we must be careful and ready to anticipate for the possible corrections in the future.

Macro stimulus and structural liquidity is what drive the massive moves though.  We just witnessed Bitcoin to go back above $69k towards $77k, mainly fueled by macroeconomic moves, by the fact the US treasury is now buying more bonds, and the launch of a large cascade of short liquidations.  Thats pure market mechanics at work, not just political rhetoric.
Of course, more liquidity which triggers the rise in Bitcoin price.
Currently, US government decides to have a more friendly regulation. So, investors can have a chance to invest with larger funds. This makes the demand in the market raising and it boosts the prices of crypto coins.

Anyway, how do you see this? Is this already the bull run that we have been waiting for, or just another pump? Give some technical aspects or justification if you have too, let us understand this.

Current situation happened on Bitcoin is already amazing, but same as what you have said its truly hard to conclude that the one we are seeing now is a real bull run.

It seems it stabilized at current level. Who knows what's next movement will came. Hopefully we see the bullish run continues and we won't see any possible trap.

If accumulation stop and people became passive then maybe we will see Bitcoin stays at that level. But who knows in next few days, Bitcoin will start to have another good price rallies again.

This is a good time to trade on bitcoin, and if you ask me which direction my position will go.

Short position on Bitcoin: yes, Bitcoin price has pumped real hard, and a 22% increase in 7 days is something to be celebrated, most especially when Bitcoin spent a long time e in the bear zone.

But don't let the current price achievement get you carried away to think that we may not see Bitcoin below $65k again.
Bitcoin is volatile it may still drop or increase but as we can see the price of bitcoin is increasing gradually even heading to $80k but if the price still go down to $65k it will still be another good opportunity to accumulate bitcoin in a cheap price.
The increase in price of bitcoin is why people shouldn't wait for any dip to buy bitcoin because you can be waiting while the price keep to increase so instead of waiting for any price drop people can start buying with the DCA strategy and hodl.
