Is this the Bull Run that we have been waiting for?

Those coins that became worthless and shitcoins that shouldn't be invested in. There is a saying that said the best ime to buy Bitcoin is when you can afford it.

You wouldn't say that predicting the market has not been beneficial to anyone. Some traders have made good money from analysing the market and making positive predictions accordingly. Maybe we might say that the majority of these traders might have predicted wrongly.

I don't think the market has entered the bull season. This price increase might be temporary; therefore, investors should be careful not to fall for FOMO.

While it is true that you should be buying bitcoin when you can afford it, it is also true that you should not be investing when it is already super high; the best time to buy is when it is going down, or it is already down. That would be the way to move forward, and I understand that it is not looking that great for the long term; we should not look at this as something that would not be all that easy to handle for the short term either. This is why the best we can do is move forward with the fact that, in the end, DCA will allow you to make money, but if you can afford to do it.

People out there who think that we are starting to go up and this 80k will be the next 90k and then 100k and then so forth, so forth higher. But that may not be happening; maybe we will go back down to 70k and then to 60k, who knows? Can you guarantee that will not happen? You can't; I can't. This is why being ready for a fall would be also good as well.

As per CMC, Bitcoin is now up around 22% in the last 7 days. That kind of pump I have not seen for the past months, as mostly Bitcoin was just staying below $70k.

But now it is pumping, and it has been over 24 hours already and still looks very consistent. Honestly, I would not even be surprised if it will hit $80k again.

This is just my observation, but it seems Bitcoin really becomes bullish most of the time in the last quarter of the year.

Anyway, how do you see this? Is this already the bull run that we have been waiting for, or just another pump? Give some technical aspects or justification if you have too, let us understand this.

We can possibly say Bitcoin has bottomed out if it breaks the $82k critical resistance level and points of control for the bears. Bull usually comes or happen after Bitcoin halving, currently we're in a recovery phase, only when we break @$126k we can call it a bull run again because from what happend last time, Bitcoin broke its ATH record before the 2024 Bitcoin halving and I wouldn't be be surprised this time if we see such thing play out once more, because the momentum we're experiencing right now doesn't seem Bitcoin would wait until 2028 halving for we to go above the current ATH of $126k, and I doubt because of institutional interest and the changing market dynamics.

Bitcoin reached new ATH before the 2024 halving, but keep in mind that we had a huge catalyst back then, ETF. So for Bitcoin to hit a new ATH at this point, we'd need a similar catalyst. But currently, I don't see anything strong enough to give it that kind of push.

Institutional interest in Bitcoin isn't anything new either. They've been investing since the ETF were approved, so I dont think that alone is strong enough catalyst to push Bitcoin to another ATH.

Some trader still think the bull case is pretty strong and September could still end green. But that's still not enough to say bear market is over and Bitcoin has entered a new bull cycle.

Those who trade smart money concept will understand this. It's not loud. That these spikes are obviously noticed shows whale manipulation or fundamentals doing their thing. By the way, aren't we supposed to be expecting bear runs this year, having taken 2025 as the peak of a circle bull season? Anyway, I ain't perturbed at all with whatever price is doing in the market currently.

As I said before, we are still in a bearish correction. But as always, prices dont just go straight down. Movements happen in waves, just like Elliott explained in his "Elliott Wave Theory".
Lets all wait for October once the bottom is in and then we will enter the bullmarket!

We are supposed to be in the bear market yet many people are still expecting the bull market to come and that is something I do not understand too, because we are in a bear market does not mean the price of Bitcoin will not have sometimes when it pumps like what happened to the maket last few weeks, this is not a bull makwt sign but it shows that the market can be turned around at anytime hence you should not be waiting to buy Bitcoin because you do not know if that is going to be the last time you see the price of Bitcoins in the price it is when you s haf the chancesl to buy. We have some more months to wait for the bull market to come and what is happening is not bull market

You are not alone in your take  as OP should know that just one breakout is far from being enough to start singing bullish run. If a bullish run is I view, there will be test and retest of that support level before the main break out shows up. Market is  volatile and  never continues indefinitely in anyone direction. It is a good setup for day traders while swing traders would have to sit and  watch.

I also think as you. We should be still in the bearish season until the next year. Usually, the bearish season lasted for 2 years.

Lets all wait for October once the bottom is in and then we will enter the bullmarket!  

The bottom probably has been reached. I guess the price looks to stay above $70k in October.

It is September, the fourth quarter, and he says he feels like things always turn bullish around this time. But like I said, we are far from bullish right now. After such a deep crash since August and the ATH, the current bounce is tiny in comparison. Also, saying this happens every year is wrong if you look at the historical data:

There never is any perfect confirmation but consistency of gains helps alot to add confidence, effectively its momentum.  So we're just below the weekly average and I find 77.7k to be quite vital to this idea of bullish run or just an attempt.
  We can always have spikes up so I understand its important to define the difference for a proper regular bull run.

  I would guess we do have further positive price action for BTC due to a weak dollar and prior subdued action helping to wear out the negativity.  Every good trend needs to be proven and ideally regularly confirmed so a good close to this weekly bar is what to look out for.   Lows that hold are an ironic positive however gloomy it might be in that moment.

Is the lack of understanding between bear market and bull market that's making most people to have that feeling, so actually a bear season will always be a bear season even if the price of Bitcoin go too higher beyond the expectations of everyone but it will definitely go back to the prices that defines it to be bear season, one important thing I like about those seasons of Bitcoin prices is that whenever we enter the bull market you will know based on the price activities and is also the same to the bear market so those previous increases was know sign of bullish season and besides since it made to $80k it has been moving around $77k positions.

The price of bitcoin has been low for quite a long time now i believe that's why people are asking if this is the bull run since there was a massive increase in the price of bitcoin in the recent time. I don't think we have seen the bull run yet I see this as a normal increase in the price of BTC since we are dealing with a volatile asset, i know that most of us wasn't expecting that increase but we should know that everything is quite possible to happen. I agree with you; we must be very prudent when making decisions that guarantee what's best for us. The market is still in a trend that we could call simply a "bullish rally," but not a definitively proven bull market, because it lacks many criteria to be certain that it is. The price of BTC could just as easily drop.

Statements, politicians with war drums in their hands, and political problems could cause this bullish rally to fall again. The best thing is to be prudent, continue with our accumulation plan, whether it's DCA or any other, but remain active in the market, taking advantage of every dip, every pullback to buy.

I think this rally is a little too big a little too early, but that’s what happens when big boys are looking to scoop the bottom I guess.

I am still cautious of the timing of this rally. It seems like we are setting ourselves up for a buy the rumor sell the news event on the Clarity Act passing. We’ll see though. If we rally off that vote instead of correct, it could be off to the races!

You guys are still thinking of bitcoin as an investment.  The people who are buying now are looking for security - they see their local currency tanking and transfer wealth to hopefully a better system.

But most people (who haven't scammed millions) will need to cash out their BTC for worthless currency (or gold) just to survive.    If this is a global depression (worse than the 30s with climate change) then you'll eventually need to trade your bitcoin back to a worthless FIAT.  You celebrate the BTC you bought at $100k is now worth $100m - then realize inflation has increased prices 5,000x, making you lose 80% of your wealth.

Invest in bitcoin if you believe you'll be able to trade it for something more valuable than the FIAT you are fleeing.  Otherwise, you risk losing it all when the additional infrastructure bitcoin needs just collapses.  :/

When people experience something they have never experienced before in the crypto market, they become surprised and start asking questions. And I would say it is not wrong to ask questions about something they do not understand, especially for those newbies.

I know that we are in a bear market, but with the way Bitcoin and some other coins continue to pump, it usually happens during a bull run. So, there are some people who have never experienced a bull run before, and seeing the way prices are increasing makes some of them think, Maybe this is a bull run.

If the price continues to increase and it is possible that Bitcoin has now crossed $90K now, there may be serious confusion in the crypto market about whether it is a bull run or not, because the price of Bitcoin can easily continue pumping during only bull run period.

Yes, I agree with you. I think it needs to rise above $80k without so much supply pressing on the order books. For sure, although I see that the market is a little bullish but that doesn't mean we are into another phase. and sure I still believe we are still in the same phase that's ( bear season), I could be wrong though, this is just a personal believe. But the rate at which bitcoin has gotten to is quite questionable, so for that i won't doubt if anyone sees this as bull run because the price of bitcoin have increased significantly. However, as for me I don't mind whatever phase we are in my major problem is on how I can get to my Investment status as this is all that matters for now .
