Energy, for sure, and arguably food security but I'm still not sure it's as bad as we're led to believe in many other indicators where we're continuously setting all-time highs (or at least, nowhere near all-time lows) with inflation, security and safety, health risks.
There is certainly improved reporting, and the media we're reading or which stands out which adds to that feeling that things are getting worse.
Economically things are getting worse everywhere. There is just no exceptions. The only thing different is that in different countries the severe issues are in different areas.

This means in the end people still are strapped for cash and have nothing left to invest by the end of the month. This is happening everywhere and because of that we aren't seeing the same level of momentum in bitcoin market. Money just doesn't come in the same as before. Hence the smaller bull runs.
I can agree, wealth is growing, and in fact, at a level or quicker pace than people but there is almost undisputed, increasing inequality in the concentration of that. I couldn't put a finger on where it all starts. Energy, for example, there's not enough serious investment and research into the renewables (particularly the lifespan and post waste)... while there seems to me an irrational distaste for nuclear energy when France already thought about this from the 70s oil crisis, why aren't more countries doing that?
But yes, to avoid going off point, it always seems to be trending worse, just not sure this really can be correlated well with Bitcoin.
