One of the most dangerous addictive lifestyle the youths of today indulging is gambling. Before now it was elderly people that play gambling called pool. Then people actually hide all these act because people believe that those who play pool are poor or will end up being poor. Today, the case is different with almost every street having gambling company erecting one building.. Now with smartphones you can sit at the comfort of your home, office,in a moving car etc and place a bet. Now my question is, gambling now and then which of them is more profitable.

Gambling addiction is not impossible to control yourself. It is also not impossible to recover from it if someone is addicted to gambling. But yes I believe it and I agree that gambling slowly destroys people financially. I was once very addicted to gambling and lost a lot of money there but I did not quit gambling. I quit gambling at that time and came back from gambling when all my savings were gone and I was in debt. I regret those things now that if I had not gambled regularly at that time and had quit gambling earlier, I would not have had to face such big financial losses. Gamblers do not quit gambling until they are in such danger once they are addicted

But for those who know how to play it right and only does gambling for mere entertainment, addiction happen less for them.

In my opinion, it's not solely their responsibility. Just like social media, the main goal of a casino is to keep your attention for as long as possible, and if there's no control on the part of the gambler, it will certainly be harmful, but nobody forces them to gamble. It's an activity for adults, and adults are responsible for their own actions.

Yes casino is the one with the long term advantage. And which why we shouldn’t see or treat gambling as a reliable source of income, even with your good self control you can loss if you keep on playing against house edge. And the biggest danger you can get you self into as a gambler is to have the mindset of getting back your previous losses by trying to gamble more. What country are you living in where gambling houses are built in every corner? Here in my country, we don't have many casino houses around, although there are a few prominent ones, but not so rampant as in your country's situation.

In my country, what is affecting most youths is not gambling addiction, but drug addiction; this problem is more common compared to gambling, since most of them give up gambling when they lose a few times.
