mtgox auto sell??

I thought you could set your MtGox account to automatically sell bitcoins sent to the account. Has this option been removed, or am I dreaming and/or blind?

Place a sell order for the amount of coins you WILL have when the deposit is finished.  It will show only as the amount you have currently but when the BTC deposit clears, the whole order will show.  I did this last night and it worked.

This is the only way I know to do it.  If you want to always do it, set your order for 21,000,000 BTC or some other large number.  It will always fill what it can.

Really I am convinced I saw the option in the settings a few weeks ago. Weird.

Maybe you are referring to http://www.automtgox.com/ ?
Other than that, there is no way to automatically have MtGox sell the incoming BTC into USD (at the current exchange rates by the time it reaches your account) without coding it myself.
Actually... I think I'm going to do so right now.

Just a bookend to this thread.

The Mt. Gox Merchant System will have "autosell" capability so that payments can be converted automatically upon receipt to USDs or whatever currency.
