The notes are NFC enabled.

Also, there is no "official" app for these notes, but they do have a Github with files for Android and iOS: https://github.com/offline-cash/OfflineCashClient/releases

For the Ledger, I think there was maybe only 1 or 2 other official editions.
The other limited edition that comes to mind was a "White Paper" edition
