I believe we are not actually talking about this thing more on this forum.
We talk about crypto investment being a very good investment and yes it’s a very good investment however, some people lose huge amount of money every day on crypto.

To some people when they lose this kind of money it leads to stress, depression, shame, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness and with this they can commit suicide.

I created this thread to tell those who have lost huge amount of money that losing that money is not the end of their life, you can still become who ever you wish to become.
We have people that has lost same amount and even bigger to crypto but they still came out of that situation, if they can do it, you can also do it. Don’t give up on life because of your lose, you are valuable to us and the society in general.
That money you lost can’t be compared to you, you are worth more than that, just keep going.

If after you come out of this, which I believe you will, please use what you can afford to lose to invest in crypto even if is bitcoin because nothing is certain not even bitcoin growth.

This is a very good reason it is good to invest in good coins like just bitcoin, and also a very good reason to invest and not trade. Most people that lose in crypto are either altcoins investors and they did not sell their coins at the right time or they are traders which is very risky like how gambling is.

It depends on the amount of money that was lost. If traders losses money from their trading activities, I don't have any feelings for them because that is the path they chose.

However, for those long-term investors whose wallet got compromised in one way or the other, they might not find it easy to stand up on their feet again especially, when it's like all their life savings. It means that they need to start all over again and do you know how long that will take. Some of them might not even get back on their feets again. However, being alive is one good reason to be happy.

If they where waiting for your post to know that loses is not the end of the world then they might as well leave everything that has to do with Bitcoin and Crypto-currency.
Well there should be nothing that should make you take your life, invest after you have done your research and very important to not invest more than you can afford to lose.

Money comes and goes. Killing yourself while you are down is just a sad thing to do. You never know when you could catch a big break and start living your dreams. That’s why whenever you are investing in bitcoin, always make sure you invest any amount you can afford to lose, don’t invest any amount which is going to cause you some serious health problems if you lose the money. We should always learn not to compete with anyone when investing, always invest base on your capacity, just because other people which you know are investing big doesn’t mean you should do that also.

When we lose money when investing suicide shouldn’t be an option, you should just look for possible ways to recover, and killing yourself shouldn’t be an option self. You just putting your family members and your loved ones into problem.

I read a story a long time ago where someone committed suicide after losing money while trading. Such incidents are very sad. Those who commit suicide may not have anyone to comfort them. They think they will not be able to make money anymore. And they trade or invest using more money than they can afford to lose. They do not understand that they can make more money if they live. However most of the cases are heard of people losing money by investing in shitcoins, so everyone should invest in Bitcoin.

Personally if I lose my investment, I will keep myself calm because money is not above everything. And I do not invest more than I can afford to lose.

Nice piece put together and I think more of this kind of message should be put out to more people who are into crypto. There is nothing certain in this life, and one cannot say for sure which direction the market could go or your investment would head towards. Taking your life should never be something of contention for anyone, no matter the situation you find yourself in. Life is more precious and as long as you’re still alive and active, you will always get to try again and try to win. The future is still better than the past and present, with such thought in mind, one can always have a positive outlook in whatever situation they find themselves in.

Not everyone survives when they lose huge amount of money in the crypto space, let alone losing their fortunes to scammers or hackers. There is an amount of money some people would lose in the crypto space coming back to the space will be very difficult for them, and some of them usually end up calling the project they invented their money in scam simply because they lost their funds to scammers or hackers.

The recent Coldcard wallet incident, made a lot of people lose hope in Bitcoin, because they lost their fortunes to hackers, not only that, some people also started moving their Bitcoins to centralized exchanges, because they no longer trust the self custody industry.

People don't commit suicide over crypto (that's why we don't discuss it here) - a poor financial education would lead to loss of money regardless of what they invested in.  We no longer have support from our gods or nature, but we have a king we've never met taking 99% of the revenue we make. 

So when you've done your best and you're starving, the fat king telling you not to worry should wake you up.  Your life and that of everyone you know has no worth; pick a side:   Revolution or Suicide.

I agree with the message that you are giving financial losses are very painful either it is from crypto or any other thing . Specially when someone loses the money that they have invested and they have work really hard to earn that. But I think that money loss should never make a person believe that they have lost their value of life . Market can recover or fall but a person life cannot be replace once it is lost. People should think before investing that either they can afford to lose it or not and they should never treat any investment as a granteed way to become rich and successful.

People don't commit suicide over crypto (that's why we don't discuss it here)

Vod people actually commit suicide over lose in crypto, I have heard about some people who commit suicide because of the money they lost in crypto and it’s actually online, if you search about it you are going to see those who committed suicide because of the money they lost in crypto.

Hui Yi the CEO and co-founder of the market analysis platform BTE.TOP died by suicide after losing 2,000 Bitcoins (worth roughly $16 million at the time) and this happened in 2019

If you invest in Bitcoin, it won't lead to depression and suicidal thoughts. A word is enough for the wise. 

Most news of crypto death is a result of either investing with what they can't afford to lose, be it Bitcoin or altcoins, or investing in a manipulated altcoin. Some altcoins are okay to invest in, but due to the large number of complaints from altcoin investors and past experience, it is better not to invest in altcoins anymore.

OP when I saw your hash tag, I was thinking that you wanted to narrate a story of how someone lost in his crypto investment and decided to commit suicide. However, suicide happens out of frustration and depression which was caused by going all in, in a risky investment. Cryptocurrency are risky, do not invest all your money on crypto assets. At that time when the crypto market crashed after the price of bitcoin hit $126k, I actually read that there were people who committed suicide and we can say that they were mostly traders who thought that the market will keep increasing which made them to invest their fortune in it, but when the price crashed down below $100k it caused shock and panic for some investors which increase their blood pressure and they couldn't survive it. This is the reason why we always talk about investing only an amount that won't affect your mental health when you lose it.

That is why we always advise anyone to invest an amount that they are willing to lose and nobody should expect returns from their bitcoin investment in a week or month, give it at least a complete cycle and it is impossible to end up with a loss.

We have events in the past of people who have zero knowledge of crypto and they straight away invested everything they have in crypto after hearing stories of how people got huge profit in crypto. People who are getting huge profit today have years of hard work behind that success.  If you are new to crypto world then always start with small money and gradually increase the money once you understand how this market works. Well I guess you have already mentioned crypto and not Bitcoin, because no one has invested in Bitcoin and lose complely. As we all know that Bitcoin can only rise and fall because of volatility, and the liquidity remain thesame unlike all those pump and dump shitcoin that rise and fall and never rise again after being liquidated. Bitcoin is totally uncompearable hence after fall it will definitely rise again. I think you should advice them to be more careful when making an investment. They should avoid paying attention to shitcoin and focus on Bitcoin, and they should avoid listening to social media influencers promoting shitcoin, most of this people promote such coin and increase the number of investor with fake hope, after they meet their target they liquidate it and leave the investor with rug pull, that is why many people fall victim because they lack proper research.

Yes, I understand that people are de-living because of crypto loss.   My statement was more foundational about general loss.  Crypto may be the trigger they pull, but they bought the gun a while ago.   Similarly, if you are wise with money you'll probably be successful with crypto.

Over the years, I think i have learned little about people who loses their bitcoin in fact when the loss is big enough, people don't just lose money they completely lose hope in themselves, and mark my words why people don't survive such a big loss in crypto is that most people have included and invested their life savings, house rent, and school fees, or even their business capital in just one coin, and the worse of it all is that they have no backup plans, most newbies are fond of such words, Let me just put it on Binance or Bybit. At least they have insurance and support, But that swings us back to "not your keys, not your coins" which is what got us into self-custody in the first place and they later get scammed…
