A word to the members: watch this post while you can it wont be here for long. Some are not keen on you knowing the truth and will see to its removal.

And to the sellers put an end to offloading your collectibles on the forum at 50 cents to the dollar. I am only too familiar with the sight of a fine piece being lowballed into the ground by someone in a hurry to make a quick sale. When you have something of substance take it to the auction houses. You will come far nearer to full value there than you will with the half price offers one finds on this site.

Anything that has actual worth an auction is the more sensible course of action. Otherwise you are simply leaving money.

You might sell items for more using an auction house, and it is certainly easier than having to deal with some of the individuals on this forum (just some), but you also have to pay massive fees to the auction house.  You might not even get as much as you'd get here on the forum, and then you have USD not BTC so you would need to pay fees to convert to BTC...

While looking at the final sales number might have you regretting selling things here, if you saw the auction house fees you would probably feel differently.
