From the weekly, I see $82900 to be another strong resistance if $80000 resistance is not enough.

What do you think?
Will bitcoin increase above $82900?
It looks like there is very strong resistance around that region ($81,000 to $83,000), and we already see that Bitcoin has dropped back to $77,700 as of now. The momentum from earlier on is long gone, and I think the coming week will be more to do with price correction
Those planning to open long positions should be very careful

For now I expect that the ace trader I read on 73k target will likely turn out to be correct;  once again which is why I follow them for 20 years so it figures they were right.  In as much as best probability at least, nobody is always correct of course.

I don't know if we are following the same person. But a trader I have been following for years also thinks this rally is over and Bitcoin could drop back to the $70k-$65k range. Earlier, at the beginning of July, he predicted Bitcoin could reach $80k, and that is exactly what happened.

Nothing is certain, of course. But I still believe in the market cycle and think it's still repeating. So I'm leaning toward that scenario. Grin Grin

I don't quite see why the OP sets the resistance at $82,900; I see it more at $81,000 or a little higher, although the OP is supposedly a much more experienced trader than I am. So, setting aside the exact figure, let’s say that if the price exceeds $83,000, I see the next resistance level at $100,000. I expect a lot of sell orders around that level. There were a lot last time, and there will be more, unless some miracle happens—like a major country announcing large, regular purchases of Bitcoin or something like that.

For now, I think the 80-something-thousand barrier—whatever the exact figure may be—will be a bit of a challenge to break through.

I would say that resistance around $80k is already too strong, considering that this isn’t the first time the bulls have failed to break through it. Most likely, the market will see either a prolonged consolidation or a deep correction in September. However, sooner or later, this resistance level will be broken anyway, and when that happens, there will likely be a very strong upward surge.

I will rather look at it that since we've gotten to the $80k price, what we should be expecting is a pull that takes us towards the $90k while we still look at $80k to be yhe resistance. As long as we are above $80k, we are on a safe bull and till we get to $90k, we can just conclude that stability is around this range.

All the prices we are seeing now are foundation that takes us to a full recovery and possibly lead us to the next ATH. It might take time and we will see a lot of Ballance and resistance but eventually, bitcoin will still break through it all.

Currently, Bitcoin has established new support at $77k–$75k, which can be considered a key level. The recent rally has caused numerous gaps (FVG), all driven by very strong buying pressure following the positive news. Given this, it seems quite likely that Bitcoin will rise to even higher prices, and the only obstacle now is the resistance at $82k. Once the breakout (BOS) actually occurs, we’ll likely see Bitcoin reach $89k in the near future.

Let’s hope this happens soon, though deep down, there’s some concern that the bearish market trend on higher time frames might continue.
I agree with you. In fact, the price of BTC is so volatile that many claim it dropped even further after the Fed's statements. This clearly indicates that many investors are taking every detail of their investments very seriously. Furthermore, I would venture to say that there are new investors who aren't entirely clear on BTC's potential, hence the hesitation to buy and then sell.

We have to look at the positive side: it broke out of the $63k-$64k range, is above $76k, and has touched the $80k level. In my opinion, there's no doubt that they tested the $80k mark and found a lot of supply. They may be waiting for that supply to decrease so they can push the price higher and create a psychological price above $80k, which wouldn't be bad at all to close out August.
