Privata | Telegram Support | Telegram Channel | support@privataswap.com

Welcome to the official Privata thread 👋

Here, we’ll be sharing updates on the service’s development, new integrations, route updates, and new features launching on the platform.

We created Privata as a unified interface for cryptocurrency exchanges, with a focus on privacy and route transparency.

No account, no email verification, and no KYC required on our end.

Our goal is to give users the ability to compare different exchange options in one place and choose for themselves what matters most to them: the exchange rate, speed, level of privacy, or the swap execution format.

Currently available through Privata:

1. 60+ providers via direct and aggregator APIs;

2. 10,000+ assets on major networks;

3. Fast Swap with routes sorted by exchange rate, speed, KYC, and logging policy;

4. Privacy Hop Swap with two-stage routing via XMR & ZEC for enhanced anonymity;

5. DeFi Swap via THORChain, Maya, Chainflip, and Near Intents;

6. Fixed and floating exchange rates;

7. Detailed information about the provider executing a specific route.

You don’t need to create an account or provide an email address to use the service. Routing is based on the self-custodial principle, and privacy is built into the platform’s architecture.

We do not hold users’ funds.

The swap is executed by a verified, selected provider, while Privata helps you compare available routes and initiate the appropriate swap.

In this thread, we’ll share Privata updates and discuss new integrations, providers, and the platform’s capabilities.

We welcome your questions and feedback.

Also, could you explain the difference between "minimal risk" for say for example, Xgram and FixedFloat  and "risk triggered" for ChangeNow and SimpleSwap when all of these services seem to have a KYC policy if they ever detect something suspicious?

Here comes another aggregator which takes pride in not holding users' funds, not requiring KYC, not requiring accounts. Why, of course, you're just an aggregator, a next to useless third party. Duh. What right do you have otherwise?

And you're funny you call yourself Privata and talks of privacy over and over again when you only onboard providers that:

  • "publishes an AML, KYC and sanctions policy that is consistent with FATF Recommendations..."
  • "performs on-chain transaction monitoring (Know-Your-Transaction / KYT)..."
  • "screens counterparty wallets against the UN, EU, UK and US (OFAC) consolidated sanctions lists..."
  • "operates suspicious-activity escalation, fund-freeze and law-enforcement cooperation procedures..."

Hi,

We understand why claims like these can raise concerns, especially when they involve people’s funds and questions about AML reviews.

ChangeNOW supports legitimate crypto activity and follows industry security and AML standards. We do not support illegal activity or transactions involving stolen, fraudulent or otherwise illicit funds. These safeguards are in place to protect our clients and the wider crypto ecosystem.

When using ChangeNOW, you agree to our Terms of Use, including our AML/KYC Policy: https://changenow.io/terms-of-use/aml-kyc.

We understand that having a transaction placed on hold can be stressful, especially when you know your funds were obtained legitimately. Please be assured that legitimate funds will be either processed or refunded based on the outcome of the review. We know this process can be frustrating and we're doing everything we can to make it as smooth as possible and minimize the inconvenience for our clients.

We understand why this situation may affect your trust, but an AML review is a security measure and should not be taken as evidence that ChangeNOW is a scam.

If you or anyone reading this has a specific case or transaction they would like us to look into, please contact our team at support@changenow.io. We’re here to help and will do everything we can to review the situation properly.

Another AI-generated swap aggregator website. The UI may look good, but I won't rely on a service that was created with AI and wasn't tested before going live.

What's the point of the landing page though? You see "Live quote" but clicking on BTC, randomly loads something else? From a UX perspective, you would expect that clicking the currency would open a drop down to select another coin.

It's simple. They did not test their own website well before they decided to publish it. Their AI didn't understand the command well enough about how the switch currencies should work, which is why it is like this. I was confused about it as well and noticed you already posted about it.

You need to click on the button "open fast swap", which forwards you to https://privataswap.com/#/swap, and you see the swap interface there. The drop-down menu works perfectly here. So I assume they did not pay attention to how swap pairs on the landing page are working.

Hello !

On the BTC dropdown / landing page: That “Live quote” block on the landing page isn’t meant to be an interactive swap widget - it’s just a live monitor showing indicative rates across our providers at a glance. It’s not clickable-to-select by design; clicking a coin there isn’t supposed to open a full swap flow. The actual, real-time quotes you swap against live on the dedicated swap pages - Fast Swap, Privacy Swap, and DeFi Swap, where the coin selectors work as a proper dropdown.

On “minimal risk” vs “risk-triggered” KYC: Both tiers mean the provider can ask for verification. The badges reflect what triggers it, straight from how we define each tier in the product:
•   Minimal risk: “May request verification on flagged activity from their own AML system” - narrow, occasional triggers.
•   Risk-triggered: “Verification on public AML or sanctions hits” - tied to the provider’s active AML/sanctions screening running on transactions.
So it’s not “has a policy vs. doesn’t” - every provider does. It’s what class of trigger applies.

Also we have a KYC: None - “No identity verification of any kind”, that kind of exchanges has an AML-verification by their terms BUT if your transaction has an AML-Risk - they just do an instant refund to sender wallet.

Exolix will never ask for KYC if you process the order via Privata. In high-risk transactions they just do a full refund. The terms you provide should be applying on Exolix site directly.

Hello !

Please, note that Privata didn't provide you with illegal exchanges or crypto-mixers. So, all of our providers must have KYC/KYT/AML  terms.

Privata offer you the most private routes on market. You can choose providers from "KYC: None". They will NEVER ask you for verification or personal documents or any other information. In the most worst case you will receive 100% refund instantly.

do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? you are telling me the same "high-risk" coins will get refunded if the swap was done thru your website, but the same won't happen if done directly on Exolix.

talk about the double standards and selective enforcement of KYC/AML terms.

Swapter was added in March 2026 and we don't have any problems with them.
you might not have a problem with them, but the other people who've been selectively scammed by them do.

NOTE : You are customer of Privata, not Exolix or ChangeNOW etc..
do you run your own liquidity? no. then users are actually customers of your third-party liquidity providers (partners), with you in the middle.

All providers integrated on backend with special terms.
special terms that no one can verify.

also, learn how to reply to multiple posts in one reply using quote, it's against the rules to post multiple posts in a row.

Hello again !

In this specific case, I don't see the point in discussing anything further. In our previous response, we clearly explained how the order process works. We are a new aggregator and have been operating for only 7 months, but during that entire period, we have not had a single KYC verification case involving any of our users.

We resolve any issues that arise, and if you using "KYC: None" in the worst-case scenario, you'll receive a refund back to your wallet WITHOUT providing any of documents or information.

Hello !

Yes, correct. If routes show "via Trocador" it's going via Trocador also. The information about provider is correct and not depend on Trocador side (they don't hold the funds, just process via API). Moreover we are working on to provide direct API access without 3rd party aggregators.

We can't disclose special agreements under NDA terms. The most important thing to users is that you will never has "Freeze of funds" or "KYC required" status.

Hello !

Landing page was created as a landing. Not the swap. So dropdown was not planned there.

But we notice you are disappointed by that 🤠 so we add the full dropdown there aswell 🫡

Then what was the point of showing the pairs and then changing them randomly after clicking on the coin names? The landing page itself can tell the entire story of an exchange/swap. I know that you won't admit the mistakes you guys made, rather you would say it was intentional. I understand that, and it's fine. Businesses often do this. When a dev's mistakes and something works incorrectly, they say it's a feature  Grin Grin

The good thing is, you listened and fixed it. This is what I mostly care about. If a business cares about its customer feedback, it won't have to look back. Next, I would recommend running some promotional campaigns in this forum to make some noise.

were you operating under a different domain name? privataswap.com is only around 4 months old.

also, why do you have the NoToKYC badge on the footer when you are not listed on their website?
(not that i take their "KYC levels" seriously, nor should anyone else)

excuse me if i'm doubtful, as i have read the same words before, and someone ended up losing their money.

and you might want to fix the filters menus on the swap page:
