What’s surprising is that most people come to crypto, but they don’t specifically learn about Bitcoin because of speculation. I used to think that way myself, but it’s possible that because we constantly hear loud stories about speculators, we think there are a lot of them. Well, we read all these stories in public groups about how the market drags short sellers and long buyers into debt or wipes out their deposit.
So, Fidelity, universities, and Binance conducted surveys, and it turned out that 40-50 percent of investors come to the market for speculation. That’s only half, then there’s the category of those who want to save and see Bitcoin as a refuge. 30 percent. Then there are those who are interested in independent transactions. And then there are the blockchain and ideology enthusiasts. They make up about five percent.

You are right that many people arrive at the worst time, which would be in my opinion when the media begins to echo the last big rise of the moment, that is, in the middle of FOMO. And as a result they are trapped for a whole cycle if they do not want to sell at a loss.

Of course, the world have programmed their mindset in such a way that they mostly consume information about how to get something easier and quicker, that is why people will continue to get scammed. Social media influencers are just after how to convince their followers on the good side of an investment, they never talk about the ugly side of it. If you want to make fast money then you should invest on real assets but as for bitcoin, you will have to be patient enough for your investment to grow. No good investor has made quick profits in bitcoin, it is always long term holdings that made people rich in bitcoins

The people who may not be very interested in still investing in Bitcoin even after the information that it will take a long time for them to be able to get profit from it are people who do not have any experience with any other form of investment because when it generally comes to investment, the most legitimate form of them require a time where you put in your money and then a period where you wait for that investment to mature before you are able to make profits from it. But honestly, what we have today is mostly speculators jumping from one price prediction to another, hoping to find the perfect entry or some guaranteed way to make quick profits. That's simply not how the market works. If youre looking for a quickie, Bitcoin probably isnt for you. Most people who choose the fastest route instead of the more reliable one eventually end up regretting it. A lot of these mindsets, also comes from the people who introduce others to crypto. They make investing look so easy that newcomers start feeling like they need to achieve the same results as the people they look up to, and they want to do it as quickly as possible.The reality is that the market rewards patience more than desperation. Theres no need to rush the process just because someone else got results before you, everyone moves at different pace..

A speculator could be considered someone who looks for peaks and troughs in certain assets, they don't just blindly sit on something hoping it's value will increase from the current point. It was quite clear that Bitcoin needed a bit of a crash to normalize again and that has happened repeatedly in it's history. You can look at a graph of bitcoin price history and see at least two previous waves like this where the price went high then fell back. A speculator would have bought into the wave earlier on and sold when it was running out of buyers, they might have got back in at the wrong point because even the best predictions are unlikely to time it perfectly but if they held just a few months from near the lows, they'd be back in profit again. Sitting on assets only works for things like stocks or bonds which pay out "profits" on a regular basis in one form or another. It's way riskier with assets like precious metals or crypto.

Social media has been a very great tool for speculation, and a lot of young people quickly believe what they see on social media without even making effort to do personal research before getting involved. You'll see posts like turn $100 into $1000 in just a week, and you'll see a lot of gullible people showing interest immediately without asking some important questions.

Having a small amount of money should not make someone become desperate, to the point where you'll start looking for quick opportunity just to multiply the amount quickly. Most times trying to turn the $100 into $1000 overnight is where you're most likely to take unnecessary risks. So if your capital is small, I think it better to start with what you can actually afford, learn new things along the way and give your investment enough time to grow.

The truth is that majority of people who jump into Bitcoin investment are those who get motivated by social media influencer who preach positive about Bitcoin and how to make profit without them explaining the the pros and cons about Bitcoin investment. It's always easy to say online but how many is ready to be patient till they make profit. But the dip and hold is a like a trend used to motivate people to invest, and they feel that buying the dip and hold is the process of making profit or wealth within know that there is more to it than what they just hear.

Yeah it may sound easy to make money but only few are investor can benefit from it, and only the patient ones. Actually their are those who venture into cryptocurrency or Bitcoin investing without proper orientation, they heard they can make money from Bitcoin investing, but the strategy behind making that money is what they don't understand, and when they invest they end up selling at the wrong time , and loosing money, and therefore conclude that Bitcoin investing is a scam.
The right thing to do before engaging in any investment is to properly learn about it before going into it, and that what Bitcoin investing requires. Bitcoin is indeed profitable, and a worthwhile investment, but not on the short term, when you are patient with your investment, and you are able to secure your wallet, making profit from Bitcoin on the long run is sure.

Lol 😂 this write up is cracking me up, of course young persons are always in a haste to do things, they don't take out time to understudy situations. However in context of what your saying, there are some young ones that are fire power whenever they meet their opposite sex,  that's how it is with some young and brilliant investors. Wanting fast profit as an investor in cryptocurrencies doesn’t resides here, that doesn’t won’t when it come to Bitcoin investment. You first need to understand the kind of market you’re getting into. A lot of information are sugar coated in order to draw your attention to what to invest without really knowing exactly how the market operates. Speculators are just another set of people looking for means to actually get more followers and attention in the crypto space. If you’re coming in for the first time, never mind or pay attention to speculations because they could even discourage you to not hold longer thinking the market won’t ever profit you.
