What's even more telling is that most people in this thread seem to put the blame on women, saying they marry for money, dont respect their husbands...It's almost as if men are always innocent and somehow the ones who suffer the most in marriage. LOL
I guess most of these people are either unmarried or are rather patriarchal husbands. A responsible man who truly respects his wife will understand that marriage is a two way relationship, and both sides are responsible for the problem in the relationship.
No offense, but only cowardly and irresponsible men blame their partners.
I think the common misconception that happens to marriage failure is improper dating, when you didn't get the chance to understand and love your partner for who they are and the most important is having a clear goal in common that nothing can stop until you fulfill
The proper love issue is another big problem leading to so many divorce I'm our society. So many people get into marriage because of money, some because they are looking for someone who can always provide for them. Some are just looking for care for the main time but they don't truly love this Person. Some for men just got into the marriage because they are looking for whom to make out with on bed, no love or affection, and sometimes, there is an unwanted pregnancy, and then they Marry, and because there is no love, they can't handle it.
Some partners see some character from there spouse that they don't like, but they don't speak up, or they tend to manage it, believe she/he will change, and eventually they get married, and there is no change. There are just so many problems leading to divorce, and that's why it is paramount that you must marry RIGHT..
