Before making this post, I tried to contact Betcoin.ag privately, but I was also ignored there.

I made a deposit of 20mbtc on 28/01/2022

The conversation shows that I received no meaningful response to my requests for assistance, only promotional messages from Betcoin.

I would strongly prefer to resolve this directly with Betcoin rather than make further public allegations. However, after receiving no response through the normal support channels (mail + live support), I have no other apparent way to get this matter addressed.

I never thought I would have to resort to external pages to get Betcoin.ag to address an issue concerning my funds, but after all this time, it seems to be the only alternative I have left.

I can provide any additional documentation required privately.

I made that deposit exclusively for sports betting. I'm sure I had winnings there, but I can't tell you the exact amount. I believe it was around 10mbtc.

I also can't say that Betcoin closed or blocked my account, because I never received any message informing me of that.

I should also mention that I had not completed KYC with Betcoin when my account was still accessible.

However, I tried to access my account again and the credentials I had saved were no longer accepted. I also tried changing my password, but that didn't solve the problem. From that point on, I tried contacting Betcoin via email and live chat to find out what had happened to my account, but I never received an explanation.

Regarding the people asking why I left the funds there for so long instead of withdrawing them:

I never used to worry about leaving funds on bookmakers that I considered trustworthy. I had done this before without any problems, so I didn't think there was a particular risk in leaving the balance there.

I also have to admit that I did not read the terms and conditions, and I had no idea about the clauses regarding inactive accounts or what could happen to the funds after a certain period of inactivity.

It's very strange how this month many new accounts have opened threads in this section to talk about problems from 2 or 3 years ago, and today you come with a problem from 4 years ago, and you're not providing many details about this case. You say you deposited 20 MBTC on January 21, 2022, but you don't say if you played or not. From what I know of most casinos, you can't deposit money and not play and then want to withdraw all the money; you need to fulfill the wagering requirements and only after that can you withdraw. In short, you can't deposit money and play at the casino. So, did you play at the casino? Did you win or lose? If you won or lost, what was the amount? These are details you should have included. In any case, I recommend you send a private message to the casino representative.

The representative for that casino has been very active here on the forum. So hurry up and contact him and post in his thread so he can see your case, which is honestly strange that you've been chasing them for 4 years. Most people would get tired and give up.

I somewhat feel there is more to this story than what's explained on the opening post. One don't just post "potential" scam after four years, just like casino in category like Betcoin will scam for  20mbtc.

what date did you send them your first email, was it on 23/12/2023 like it's showing on your screenshot?

As shown in the screenshot I posted earlier, I first contacted Betcoin on 23/12/2023, and the messages shown there are all messages I sent to them.

It is true that the clause you mentioned changes the context quite a bit and could potentially explain what happened. There is also another clause, 11.1, which seems to apply specifically to accounts like mine that have been inactive.

However, those are Betcoin's current Terms and Conditions. I did not agree to the current terms, I agreed to the terms that were in place when I opened and used my account in 2022. I don't know whether clauses 7.10 and 11.1 had the same wording back then, or what the applicable rules were regarding inactive accounts and any funds remaining in them.

If they were relying on an inactivity clause that allowed them to eventually close the account and apply fees to the remaining balance, then what I find particularly unfair is that, even after I contacted them directly, they completely ignored my requests for an explanation. I understand that they may have had contractual terms allowing them to take certain actions after a period of inactivity, but once I contacted them to find out what had happened to my account, I would have expected at least a meaningful response explaining the situation. Instead, my attempts to get an explanation were ignored.

If Betcoin closed my account because of inactivity, I have no problem accepting that this may be what happened. What I still don't understand is what happened to any remaining balance and why, when I tried to regain access and contacted Betcoin, I was never given any explanation about the status of my account or funds.

your account was definitely considered inactive since from the date of the deposit to 23/12/2023 was around 1 year and 11 months.

there is actually another section in the terms for dormant accounts that also applies to your case, but if i understand it correctly, you should have been able to re-activate the account by contacting support if you still had funds.
but i guess they had already terminated your account before you sent them the email.

11. DORMANT ACCOUNTS
11.1 If the player’s account stays inactive during 365 days (the account holder does not login and performs no deposits, bets or withdrawals), it is considered a Dormant Account. For the players security, the players funds will be archived and inaccessible until the player returns and comes to live chat or submits a ticket to collect the funds. In my opinion, you should have been clear. For example, you made a deposit on this date:

After saying you bet x amount on game X, you would say whether you won or not, and then you would mention what you did after that, if you logged out of your account, what was the next date you tried to log in and realized you couldn't, and what was the first date you contacted support and what they said that day, and you would show those dialogues. Because what comes to mind is that it's not normal for someone to come 4 years later after complaining about problems with a casino. This has happened with people who bought casino accounts and discovered too late that they were scammed. I could be wrong. but these words:

This makes me even more convinced that I might be right in my way of thinking; nobody would leave money in a casino and disappear for more than a year without caring about the money they left there. But you didn't think about withdrawing the money; you simply left the money in the casino as if it were your wallet, and only a year later did you contact support because you couldn't access your account. Really, these cases of complaints about things that happened 2, 3, now 4 years ago raise a lot of suspicions for me.

I have never deposited on a site, made bets, won, and then not return for more than a year. I have withdrawn and not returned for more then a year, but most gamblers take their money from a site before disappearing. Something smells a little fishy here.

Hey, welcome to the club of people scammed by betcoin.ag. There are a lot of accounts on this forum affiliated with the betcoin.ag scammers, and they'll jump in to defend them. I don't know what this site betcoin.ag used to be like, but right now it's just set up to scam people out of their deposits. They ripped me off for $1,100, $700 of which was my own deposit. It's always the same scheme.

The only way to have any chance of protecting yourself is to file a complaint with Betby — they're the sportsbook provider behind the betting. I posted a sample complaint letter in my thread.

Stay careful, bro — don't run into scammers like betcoin.ag again.

Otherwise it looks something hard to believe, after 4 years you remember that on this site you make a deposit and still you have money? also you remember to win 10mbtc!

I got one, few days ago, and stayed silent as it is covered by confidentiality of PM and I thought David will come here himself. But I guess he wont. So, if I may try to "close" this case, being ultra vague but still very clear, BetCoin assured me that they're still the fastest at responding to email complaint, and when they don't reply to an email... something fishy is sitting next to a big board already stating "if you smell fishy, don't fish here".

What concerns me is that after all this time Betcoin has still not responded to my emails regarding what happened to my account and the funds that were in it. Despite trying to contact them, my emails have been ignored.

If Betcoin has an explanation for the situation, I would appreciate it if their representative could post it publicly here. I'm more than willing to provide any information or evidence I have available to help them identify the account and verify its history.
