Thank you for providing this evidence that the platform was not safe. There were about ten reviews and almost all called tether.bet scammer this shows how poor their services were. The casino in focus website is not available and I was not redirected to another gambling website. People should avoid casinos with bad reputation no matter the kind of offers they promise.

This is something that the Philippine government wants to address. Once an offshore casino shuts down, local players can't do much; they cannot file a report because many of these offshore casinos operate illegally.

It is not normal news that a casino transfers stranded gamblers on their platform to another platform after closure. Some casinos will close up and then leave the customer stranded without caring what happens to the money they have in their gambling balance...

Biggest thread here is that they might or will transfer private data as well. For example you might find it fine to verify your mobile number at offshore casino, but if they transfer your client data to casino that is registered in your country, that might cause you problem with local tax authorities later. Abroad mobile operator can not identify you, but local mobile operator will do that in no time...

I also think the main question here isn’t even about transferring the balance, but about what exactly gets transferred along with the account. If the two casinos really belong to the same group of companies and this is clearly stated in their terms of service and privacy policy, then at least there’s some legal basis for transferring the data.

It's rare to see such incidents where a site is redirecting its users to some other site.
In case the site was rebranding itself or redirecting the users to one of it's partnered sites then it was understandable but redirecting users to a different site is rare.
The announcement notice shows the site as partner site but the article in OP mentions it as a completely different site, so again not sure with that.
As long as the users are able to access their funds and able to withdraw it then its good to go.
