Real investors already know and see bitcoin as a safe haven and that is why they are always buying it continuously and I also queue into your ideology that investing in bitcoin is a good and better option for retirement and one major reason why people are not holding bitcoin is because of its volatility

Bitcoin is getting less volatile, having reducing volatility. These can increase Nigerians confidence in investing in it. It is far better than saving naira in bank. And for those that prefer fiat collateralized stable coins like USDT and USDC, know that knowledgeable people that are living in United States still want assets that can be used to hedge against inflation.
I agree with you that, Nigerians are not really into holding simply because of its volatile nature and with this offer, alot of them would want to give it a shot.

Making bitcoin a retirement plan is profitable and i think it is the most secured way of making a retirement plan since it will be in your custody where you will have access to it at any time you want. 20 years is a very long time, by then the investment must have yielded heavy growth added with the quantity you have been able to hold. Inflation has worsen the fiat currency to an extent that it doesn't have any future value. Instead of saving money in the bank as retirement plan, bitcoin will be the most preferable way of investing that money. 20 years is about 5 cycles of bitcoin, and of course the growth of your investment within that interval will surely be huge.

Generally, a good practice would be to make retirement  plans for atleast for different kinds of assets/stocks, that way you don't end up losing everything if one asset or stock goes bad. For bitcoin investment, I practice a modified form of naira cost average; I buy aggressively when there's a bear market, then buy less aggressively when there is a bull run. So at the time when I am buying less aggressively, I channel the remainder of my investment funds to other asset.
Your buying plans is not bad one thing that you must do is to remain consistent if you plan to use Bitcoin as your retirement plan, having different assets or stocks is good so you don't put your eyes in one basket but it is also good to note that one good basket you keep everything is better than having different eggs in wrong basket. You can decide to do two different strategies in Bitcoin investment, you can have a short term plan and long term. The goal for the Short term will be to buy during the dip and to sell fast during the bull while you make use of the long term plan for your retirement plans.

Bitcoin is the best form of investing for retirement. I don't see any other retirement plan better than Bitcoin in the world we live in. Anyone who has not invested in Bitcoin for retirement is not setting a standard for when they get old. Many will be glad that they invested in Bitcoin 50 years from now, and many will rejoice because they are living comfortably with their retirement plan.

Other assets for investment for retirement are real estate, building a plaza, and owning an engineering company that deals in heavy machines. Gold and silver are also very good investments for retirement.

The stock market is dangerous for someone on a retirement plan. Instead of investing in the stock market, let them invest in government bonds and mutual funds. Mutual funds are safer because the investment returns profit monthly while the capital remains intact, till the owner demands it. Mutual funds' annual return can range from 10% to 20% and even more. Divide it by 12 months. The amount you get is what you will be paid monthly.

One of the best gifts ever for your retirement age that one will gift himself because It's easy access to, safe and secure for your retirement purposes during when you won't have much of strength and energy to go about working for a living. You do not to start looking for buyers of your Bitcoin during when you will needing to use the funds to sustain your living, buyers are always readily available. You might have billions in savings, and people wouldn't even know you have accumulated such wealth.

It is very important for us to always start planning for our retirement at an early stage, and know that we wouldn't be working for forever. Just like they always say that "Soldier come, Soldier go, barrack remains" that's how it goes, because no matter what position you are, you must definitely retire for another person to take over. That's why we need to plan ahead of time and diversify our investments without having double thoughts about it, because I think it's much safer to have different investments, so that In case anything happens along the line, you wouldn't lose everything at once, since nobody knows what will happen in the future.

The outstanding capacity of Bitcoin is that even when other forms of asset investment are on, investment in Bitcoin is still very unique much more when it's the matter of decision on which asset to invest on, then Bitcoin investment should be the best option. If parents. When talking of retirement plan, then Bitcoin investment is better option with it's little or no stress and best approach using DCA strategy, so that there totally no stress except buying Bitcoin at due time.

The parable don't put all your eggs in one basket is very important in investments even as good as bitcoin investment sounds a lot of things could go wrong. Worse is getting hacked and your funds stolen.

For everyone considering this make sure you weigh your psychology and expectations to see if it's something you can actually handle sometimes it doesn't play out as positive raw ROI outputs when you have are not ready.

This should be the best approach to investing in bitcoin, which is considering the ups and downs and be ready for whatever outcome. It's safe to conclude that bitcoin has remained consistent over the years breaking new highs over a quarter but one can never go wrong with diversifying their income.

Alongside investing in bitcoin, there should be consideration for investing in stocks as well, which seems to be relatively less risky than bitcoin and also rewards long term investors. With that, it would be less pressure with what the current Bitcoin price is, and that would help with the discipline for long term bitcoin investment.

Making plans for your retirement using bitcoin as your asset is not a bad decision since even real estate does not assure anyone of such quick profit of up to 82% in just 4 years. Make your plans now and set your accumulation target based on the number of years left before your retirement. Self employed people also have their retirement period when they hand over their business to their children or workers. Make hay while the sun shines, invest in bitcoin today for a safer tomorrow.

I don't see any negativity in this advice as it gives you an advantage to accumulate slowly as you wish instead of being pressured to invest in Bitcoin with all your life savings. Firstly, having a retirement plan should be a must for everyone and then having one that you're in control of is also a plus as it gives no third party control over your retirement fund that could've been mismanaged and then you got left with nothing when it's time to cashout. Your in control with BTC as your retirements savings as I prefer to call it and all that's left of you now is your discipline because without it then you won't be able to achieve this retirement goal of yours. Come rain come sun, you have to keep something tangible in the wallets and do it consistanly as long as you have to your retirement date and you'll enjoy the rewards.

You have a very good point, instead of buying and selling bitcoin like a trader, having the retirement plan in bitcoin is better. People have retirement plan so that they have the money they can rely on at old age. Something that can hedge against inflation and also that can preserve their money. But in addition, bitcoin can increase the value of their their money.
Inflation is one of the biggest challenge of a common Nigerian because it's on the rise on a daily basis. People need to start thinking outside the box because the economy doesn't seem to be getting better. When I remember that in 2010, life was extremely much better even as people were still complaining about bad leadership but at least, with 1 million naira, you can get a good car not older than 6 to 8 years. Same year, bitcoin was only at $0.4, fast forward to today, 1million Naira is as good as worthless in this country. If someone who had 16 years to retire had invested his money in bitcoin and retires this year, his story wouldn't be the same.

Saving Naira in the bank is a total waste of resources as banks only do business with your money and give you peanut as your interest. This is not supposed to be so when you can hold your money in bitcoin and be safe from such inflation. USDT and USDC is crashing every day and we've seen that even Naira is gaining every day against dollar recently.

Dis things go make beta sense if say government go fit allow people to choose which way dem wan save dia retirement funds and dem go dey allocate the amount wey match the monthly contribution to retirement plans in Bitcoin to maybe ETF provider like Black Rock on behalf of de person, den after many years and de person wan retire, em go choose to cash-in, continue with the ETF or receive their coins in self-custody wallets.

E go really make sense as retirement plan dat way, de value of your retirement benefits go dey preserved right from time and you go dey in good profits. This go dey better dan all the companies wey dey use people money do business for many years, come dey give dem peanuts when dem don retire.
Is like you forget say na Naija you dey bros. Our government no be oyinbo people o wey dey plan better for the future of their citizens. You go first ask wether the Fiat money for pension whether, government dey fit pay these old people talk more of saving their retirement money for bitcoin. Na only you fit dey use part of your extra money dey DCA for the future because na only you go plan your old age yourself.
You're right, you can not expect the government who has shown no interest in things that matters to spend their time saving bitcoin for you. As a matter of fact, if they help you save the bitcoin, you may not be able to get all your money from them when the time comes. The best thing is, set your goals, buy bitcoin on your own and HODL it in your safe wallet where only you can access. The pension board is one of the most corrupt people in Nigeria and regaining your money from them is not always easy after retirement.

Again, for self employed people, how will they be able to gather up some bitcoin if it must have to come through the government? But DCA is a strategy of all. You can set a target based on how long you would possibly manage your business and accumulate as much as possible so that after retirement, you can fall back to your bitcoin savings using a Sustainable withdrawal mechanism to spend your bitcoin in a profitable manner at old age. The mistakes that civil servants and public servants make during their active days is one of the major causes of pensioners death.

[Edited out]

I don't see any negativity in this advice as it gives you an advantage to accumulate slowly as you wish instead of being pressured to invest in Bitcoin with all your life savings. Firstly, having a retirement plan should be a must for everyone and then having one that you're in control of is also a plus as it gives no third party control over your retirement fund that could've been mismanaged and then you got left with nothing when it's time to cashout. Come rain come sun, you have to keep something tangible in the wallets and do it consistanly as long as you have to your retirement date and you'll enjoy the rewards.
The good thing about government offices is that every government worker knows his retirement date from the first day of appointment but you see most of them live their life without planning for their retirement. As a young worker or even someone who has stayed Many years working with some years to retire, you can start accumulating bitcoin now with small fraction of your monthly earnings which you can afford to HODL. This will give you a seamless edge at retirement because you will be surprised at what you have saved and the value at retirement.

Like I will always say, everyone have their own strategy of investing in Bitcoin, and we all also have our goals when it comes to Bitcoin investment. Some of us are not retiring even in the next 30 years, so it makes sense that one can still invest on Bitcoin consistently for a period of 10 years and they will be in a huge profit after that period (depending on the amount that was invested), they can use this profit from the investment to achieve some goal and after which, they still have another 20 years start accumulating for their retirement plan.

Secondly, there's this idea I have discussed before, some persons believe that because you are saving Bitcoin for investment sake, you don't have to sell until you are retired, but I have sold some Bitcoin during a bull season which gave me a good profit but I didn't spend the profit and the capital. During the bear season, I used the money to buy more Bitcoin than the amount that was sold. If you are applying such strategy, you don't have to sell all your holding but this strategy can help you to always increase yout holding too.

The diversification on retirement plan shouldn't be in Bitcoin and other altcoins. Altcoins are too risky to invest in our retirement plan because retirement plan investments need low-risk investments like Bitcoin.

My best advice to people who want to diversify their retirement plan is to invest in Bitcoin and then invest in tangible assets like Real estate and agriculture. A tangible asset may not give you a huge ROI compared to Bitcoin in the long term, but it will give you peace of mind that the value of your investment is still there.

I would personally advise not to settle for Bitcoin as your retirement plan.

Oh yes bitcoin is one of the best form of investment, but relying on something that doesn't have guarantee of rewards as your retirement plan doesn't seem like the best approach..

Instead...

Invest in Bitcoin normally with a long term target, use discritionary income follow all rules for a good investment, but also look for a better retirement plan that has a higher guarantee of keeping money or giving you some profits.
I don't wish for it, I also invest in Bitcoin as well and I only pray for the best.  But if bitcoin crashes your whole retirement plans are gone and now what will you do at that time?

Invest but still have a retirement plan with a good guarantee even if it is farming or land buying or opening of shop super market or any other better guarantee

I thinks it's more like doing your Normal weekly or monthly DCAing and stacking BTC all your time while working, with hopes that by the time you retire, you must have stacked enough Bitcoin in your portfolio. With this, it gives you liverage to use your pension money for something else or ads some to Bitcoin investment because you had built some portfolio while working. It's not as if you are leaving work to invest all your money in Bitcoin at that time, nope. For me, I thinks it's a good plan.

It's true Bitcoin can be an hedge for inflation but the major problem is volatility and that the outcome is still not guaranteed after all the years spent. Bitcoin is really good for retirement plan but relying on it fully on it to me is not the best, we should be cautious with relying on it fully, I even think putting little into Bitcoin and then diversify into something else instead of putting all in Bitcoin.

Holding Bitcoin as retirement asset have more advantage than holding Fiat, even though Bitcoin is volatile it still beats Fiats so generally Bitcoin makes more sense for retirement plan since it's for the long term and not short term trading but we still need to understand that the outcome is not guaranteed, it all depends on how Bitcoin performs at the time.

Like what can I diversify my money into? I prefer bitcoin. I have thought of gold, silver and some stocks like the SPCX but I think bitcoin is better for me.

They will always say bitcoin is volatile but the price of bitcoin is only increasing after a long period of time. I think bitcoin has proven itself over time that it can be used as a store of value.

If I later diversify, I will prefer gold, silver and some stocks but almost all my retirement funds will be in bitcoin.
