I think you're going to far, This tactics is mostly apply to those who are poor. And not for people who are wealthy, personally I would love to even make friends with those wealthy people because I know they don't owe that much. but as for those who are poor, for example if they buy something  on credit they may not bother to pay back and it could be that they don't have money to pay back or maybe what they were actually expecting didn't get to them and due to the relationship you built with the person you may not want to take things serous with him or her, and for that they will keep posting you until they get the money to pay back. But when you limit yourself from them they may not get the access to take something on credit from you, even though they will do that because as a business man or woman there's no way you will run your business that you would stop your customers from buying something on credit from you completely rather you can only give to those that you know they can easily pay back without asking for it.

What you said makes sense but for me, I'll be against forcing ourselves in doing things like socializing. If someone can't do business and they can't socialize, there must be other ways. Don't do things that are against your will because it won't end up well. Do not force yourself to like other people for the sake of socialization and connection. It's better to do things that you like and it's not against your ego. Because everything will be less to carry and you'll have no heaviness you'd feel because you're prioritizing your business.
