Gifting Bitcoins in Raksha Bandhan

So Happy Raksha Bandhan to all the brothers and sisters. Nowadays we have a tradition of giving gifts to each other, so it works both ways that is brothers give gifts to their sisters and vice versa.

Have any of you guys thought about gifting crypto instead of cash? I am more interested in gifting Bitcoin, as its the final boss of cryptocurrencies. I am planning to gift 0.00025 BTC to each of my sisters. I will also educate them about how precious Bitcoin is and how its value has risen from practically nothing to almost a million dollar asset.

Since the amount isnt very high so I am planning to have them open P2P accounts (through my referral link ofc ) and transfer the BTC directly to their accounts. What are your thoughts on this? And how many of you have already done something similar?

It is great to give gift in bitcoin for the adoption.

And which platform you are preferring to open the account and if you want to educate them about bitcoin then do it right, instead of opening an account on exchange, educate them in creating a wallet that is non custodial and send funds to that address which means they control the keys and might have the right motivation to do it further.

Ngl i don't advertise much about corn type of stuff to my sister's/ cousins or any female family members of mine. It's not like i don't trust them, it just i know 100% that unke pet mein baat nahi pachti and can't take this kind of risk with them.

So I stick with cash and gifts.
