A bit late on this, but not too late.
BitMart published a new announcement on its
Important Announcement > Official Announcement page on August 21, 2026, stating that it may consider a business resumption plan.
According to the same announcement, BitMart also stated that it
may consider distributions to creditors along with resumption of some certain operation . I'm not yet sure who they consider to be creditors, though.
If your assets are still stuck with BitMart, you may want to stay updated and keep an eye out for the next update, which is expected by September 9, 2026.
Following further discussions with members of the community, our stakeholders and professional advisers, BitMart is developing a potential restructuring plan as an alternative to a full wind-down. The potential plan may include the phased resumption of certain operations in an orderly manner alongside distributions to creditors, subject to further legal, financial, operational and regulatory assessment. To support this process, BitMart has appointed White & Case as its restructuring counsel. White & Case will work alongside BitMart’s other professional advisers to evaluate the available options and assist in developing the potential restructuring plan, including any framework for the phased resumption of operations.
A roadmap is currently being developed together with our advisers and we will endeavour to provide a further update by no later than 9 September 2026.
