A recognized gambling license? Yes, it's a must even though ultimately I still feel like it's more just for show than anything.
Fast withdrawals? 100% if I hear wd take an hour or a day or a week, then that casino can piss off. This is 2026, not 2010.
No KYC / minimal KYC? I prefer no kyc and none of that hidde3n bullshit in their ToS. If you say NO KYC that should mean no kyc. Not we kyc if this or that.
A positive reputation on Bitcointalk? At the start you're not going to have this, so worrying about it is stupid for a new casino. Build the reputation from the start.
Provably Fair games? as provably fair as you can be.
Good bonuses and promotions? yes and no, i'll explain a bit after the rest of these questions.
How long the casino has been operating? Somewhat but every business started at some point.
Responsive customer support? If you got shit support, you don't care about your customers. Ultimately it shows me you only care about money.

Now that I have answered your list, I think most new casinos are in too big a damn hurry to get started here on the forum. You guys show up and half of you hire the same manager, exactly how much attention do you think as person pays to your brand if they are busy with 15 other sites at the same time? Then you're told open a sig campaign and you do it, but you want 1000 customers now and don't give it time to work and you end up stopping after 2 weeks. That's about 22 weeks too early. You're trying to build a brand name, slow and steady growth is the way to go.

We wanna see a license and we want to be able to verify that license as well. Not being able to verify an advertised license tells me never click the link to that casino again. Then there's the kyc shit that all casinos seem to pull these days. They think they will attract people by starting off claiming no kyc and lo and behold there is kyc. Then casinos say it's in rare cases if we detect fraud. To me it is lying to your customers and eventually kyc is used as a tool to fuck someone over. You want to have kyc that's fine, just don't advertise as no kyc, simple.

As I stated above, you're not gonna start off with a positive rep here so it's best to concentrate on your business and be responsive to the community. Interact, answer question in your thread, take the time to show people you care about their concerns, answer scam accusations or at least acknowledge them. Doing these things build your reputation and brand, makes people wanna play or at least give you a chance.

Bonuses and promotions are great but don't give dumb shit to us. We don't want some stupid @75% depo bonus with xxx free spins and it be tied to a ridiculous wager rollover. We all know that 1 or 2 people will clear that bonus out of 100 that try it. It's just a promotion that largely benefits the casino and shows people that once again you are only thinking of the site wallets. I get it you wanna make money, you want customers. How many customers are gonna be repeat customers if they get shit promos that only lost them money? Your goal should be to get them in the door and let your product do the rest. Hand out some free spins, free bets, do some simple contests that allow people to try the product for cheap or free and let them decide if they wanna deposit.

Customer support is a huge 1 for me. I don't want some idiot bot or even worse an idiot human. When I have a question I want to get connected to a person who has the answer and the correct answer, not some moron who gives me a -pre written response from the customer support book for idiots. You also need to be active on this forum answering the people in your thread or hire a community manager to help out.

In the past, before I become a member on this forum, the most important thing I check about gambling sites before I can have an account with the site are good customer service, reputation and fast withdrawal. These are traditional gambling sites that games provability can not be checked from the seeds.

When I become a member on this forum, I want a licensed gambling site. The gambling site have presence on this forum. Basically, negative feedback and fraud in terms of its advertisement.

If they misrepresent themselves as such and trick their customers into luring them with such advertisement, then that also amounts to bad practice which are obviously red signals that people must NOT ignore.

Fast withdrawals is every player's desire from the casino they play in. If losing money in your casino happen in a second, my withdrawal should be processed and approved as fast as losing money is. Great point. What the community says about a particular casino matters alot. Hence this can also play a crucial role in aiding their growth or pushing them far beyond limits. Possibly you weren't expecting the players or people that has eyes for your brand to just wake up and beleive all you've said so far just like that, it's not possible, people's reviews always matters.

I don't really care about it. Because for me, I don't really know what's the difference between one license and another. I come to play, not to learn and read what the license means. Fast withdrawals?
Yes, but that's not my priority. The more important thing is paying. Half a day to one whole day is still okay for me. Maybe I have this low standard because back in the day when I first played at an online casino, the payment was really slow, and could take days because I used a third party service to be able to register at the online casino I wanted to play. So there was like an intermediary between me and the casino. I got used to slow withdrawals.

No KYC / minimal KYC?

Not really. I rarely need support or face any problems. All casinos are just the same. I already got used to it.

Basically the two most importants things when it comes to trust a brand new casino are it's reputation on gambling communities like this one on Bitcointalk, and also the time they have been in the market.
As time passes by and then consistently keep their good reputation on here, I would feel more appealed to deposit for the first time on their casino and gamble to see if their experience is as good as so many people claim it is.
Fast withdrawals and non-KYC mean nothing if the reputation of the casino is not good and if they have no history in gambling communities.

Gambling license for the time being one of the obligations that must exist for me before starting with a casino including a new casino, although I am very rarely in a new casino but if it is possible then the initial consideration for a license is a non-negotiable thing.

KYC or Non-KYC, actually here I don't really pay attention to this as an obligation but if there is a non-KYC then this will be a plus but even if there is KYC on the site I personally as long as it is convenient will still do it for now.

Longevity is what makes me trust a casino and a new one just doesn't have it. Generally you just have to make sure you have a casino and a sportsbook, with some generous welcome offers to tease players in, plus look like you're sticking around for the long haul - so no spelling mistakes, decent looking content, proper terms & conditions that weren't lazily ripped from another site and customer services who will answer properly. Originality helps because there is nothing to distinguish most new sites from any other. Besides that you're just going to have a big enough marketing budget to brute force getting new players, combine a decent affiliate program with things like advertising campaigns on these forums and you just have to plug away at it slowly. If you create a thread in the main casino section and keep adding content to it, eventually customers find their way to you.

So in the end, the most important thing is: "honesty and complying with what is written in the terms of service." I, for one, don't look at the bonus; I look at honesty. For that, I research the terms of service a lot to see if the casino is lying. It's better to be honest and say; "We don't have a license" and "we request KYC" are more common than lying and saying you have a license when you don't, lying by saying you are KYC-free when you do have KYC, and also when there are many accusations of fraud against the casino, because the casino withheld funds due to KYC or accusing people of cheating.
