Many of us are rich or average, but trading makes it look like we can use trading to make it to the next level faster.

If you have higher amount of money, but you are losing while trading with lower amount of money, the chance that you will make money in trading is still very low.

Every successful person has a target, they want to achieve, buy something that makes them successful. That taste of luxury and class hits different and when someone tastes bro then they will do anything, will never stop their efforts to make more money.

They will not stop even if they hit a jackpot like make 60x from a single memecoin trade and it changed their lives, but they will not retire, they will spend the money again to make even more and majority lose what they earn, they never really know when to stop but not everyone is like this.

People with clear goals know they need this and they need this much time to earn this much money. Therefore we can trust them, but we should know when to stop and when we should never stop.

Some people believe that once they are rich, they can make quick money from trading since they will have a bigger capital, it is true, but in most cases of traders who don’t have basic knowledge, it is not true because you can’t trade and make good profit without learning or understanding the concept of trading.

It is not all about money, it is about the understanding and how to do some analysis in your own, if you can understand all these properly, you can make good profit with big capital and will easily have good returns than traders with small capital.

Do not deceive yourself.

If you are earning $500 monthly, you will think you are not rich while trading.
If you are earning $1000 weekly, it would still be the same thinking.

I think you might be right. The amount of money you have does influence your trading.

But I think anyone who can make 200 usd out of 100 usd is a good enough trader. And I mean without using leverage or other derivatives, aka gambling. But there does appear to sometimes, even among veteran traders, to be the feeling that if you are trading large amounts of money that you are somehow more successful. That is indeed a dangerous delusion which even I have had. I guess it is just part of human psychology`...

If I have that capital, I won't even dare to put it up on trade but rather focus as an investor. I'll let myself get into a good sleep while knowing my assets will work for me and I'll only take the money through the interest rates or APYs that has been set for how much I'll be taking after specific period of time. While I can still trade but it's going to be minimal and I don't want to catch a lot of stress of the market trying to panic if something wrong happens. That's not the kind of way of life I want to live in if I have a lot of money. I'll do the lesser pressure way of making money even it's quite small as long as it's profit.

Trading size is important when the question of profitability is not an issue. I use a fixed percentage size for my risk sizing per trade which is currently 0.75% of my account size. Once I am profitable, I will begin increase the account sizes because using small risk size when you have proven you have an edge is almost the same as using a gun to shoot yourself on the foot.

Trading profitability does not result from having a huge amount of capital. In fact, that only puts you at a higher risk of losing all your money, most especially if you are trading to fulfill your greed in trading. And do not be deceive that most of the successful traders are actually trading a huge amount of funds, because in reality they start trading with a small amount, and slowly multiply their capital after they are making consistent wins from their trades.

High amount of money does not guarantee high profitability. But it could be a sure way of losing all you have when you are trading blindly.

A bigger amount to trade with can give you enough capital to accommodate a drawback in trading if you are not using a leverage that is ridiculous. The big mistake that some people do is that they assume that because of the large capital that they are trading with that they can now afford to use a higher leverage than usual because they are greedy to want to make a quick profit faster than they should. This is why they end up getting liquidated or losing a large side of their capital.

Even with a huge trading capital, maintain your normal leverage, that is what discipline and principles in trading looks like.

I always thought that capital is important for a trader. But that's not the most important thing. Now I realize it's not about how much capital is needed, but how we grow that capital to continue profiting consistently.

I would guess that mainly because they are usually promoting something, and that is why. I understand that it is not that common for people to see this, because it could be as simple as showing the website they are doing it on without saying the name, so when they are not openly shilling, you would not know even if it is ads.

But it could also be about just promoting themselves; all those people who are "look how alpha I am with my cars and cigars" created a new genre of young men as well. So in the end, it could be for any reason at all, but the Lambo situation is basically the whole "this is the entry, if you have lambo, you are one of us" to those young people.

Reality is, it is not about having a lambo, it's about having a wife, who you provide for, and could not work and stay at home and take care of the kids, and can buy them a good nice house, and car for yourself that is normal and reliable, and a station wagon style kid friendly car for your wife, and provide for your kids, toys, education, even for college paid for, and then when the last kid is off to college, you retire with your wife without needing money or work and go around the world and have fun in a cruise ship or something. Do this, instead of a lambo, and then you are a real man.

Totally agree tbh. The same mindset that doesn't work for a small account doesn't work for a large account either – trading losses will just keep growing in proportion to the capital involved.

Basically it's not about "how much ammo you've got", it's about "how you pull the trigger". James Wynn's the perfect example: that much capital, and that much of a novice taking on all sorts of positions with insane leverage.

A funny thing is people believe that they are lacking capital, but in reality their issue is psychology and discipline. The more emotional you get losing $50, the worse it'll be emotionally losing $5,000 — it's just the amount is bigger, but the mind is the same.

What many people don’t understand is that trading is not in the amount you are trading with. Trading is the ability of making those wins keep coming, even if you lose at times which is normal, but your winning rake is higher even though you are trading with little money. A trader have to understand the concept of trading very well. Your ability to read charts and make an informed decisions, that will always favour you is very important.

The amount you are trading with won’t guarantee you success, because it’s not the basic requirement to be an Outstanding trader. This is where the overall win rate and ROI come in. By just looking at only the winning trades and the amount, I can't get convinced that one is a successful trader or not. The equity in the account, the number of winning trades vs losing trades, the return on investment over time, etc., can help give a clearer picture

Someone can claim to make $1,000 weekly, yet they have a very poor win rate and $10,000,000 in accounts vs someone who makes $100 on average weakly and they have only $1,000 in the account with a good win rate.
