They want you to do the math,  600T x $25.5 = $15,300
BM knows that listing it as x dollars per Th is less shocking than showing the actual price.
Ja one *could* run it at home but I for one do not want to be losing 600T from a single miner going down...

I put 5 cents into the calculator and have no idea how to recoup the cost of this ASIC.

The ASIC will be launched mining  in November-December, and the halving is just around the corner. $15,300 is very expensive, and the miner will need an additional water cooling system.

what's remarkable:
the previous s23 hydro miner delivers 580 th/s at 5510 watt and 9.5 j/th
the new s23 xp hydro therefore delivers more hashrate while consuming less power (as is customary with all other new models)!
Bitcoin mining is thus approaching the mark of just 9 joules per terahash.

s9 → ~98 j/th
s19 Pro → ~30 j/th
s21 → ~17.5 j/th
s23 xp hydro → 8.9 j/th

The "XP" prefix on ANTMINER ASICs denotes that they are the most energy-efficient in the series. The ANTMINER S23 model was released first, followed by the ANTMINER S23 Pro, and the ANTMINER S23 XP is typically the last model in the lineup, unless the marketers come up with something new.
