Crash game with runner-style gameplay — more interesting than the classic graph?

This reminds me of a 2D game that people are earning a lot of money from in 2021, I tried the game out and it looks like some runner style old arcade game, it was fun but it died later.

There are so many aging crash games that are still in circulation today that can allow players to make profits but gradually you will start losing to them. Most of those games had been rebranded to new set of games now.

People stopped playing because it slowly gets harder or maybe the game provider intention make it harder who knows? All of a sudden it becomes too hard to earn again.

Since that time I understand that providers can adjust somethings in a game and make it look like nothing is happening, today if I feel like playing something similar I don't have to make money from it, I can log into steam and do my thing.

That is almost the same algorithm most crash games are operating on. They will allow you to make some profits when you started playing the game which will start making you to gain addiction gradually. Over a certain time, you will start to notice that it's becoming very difficult for you to make profits while betting on these games and that is when the game provider will be making their own money from players' lose after allowing you to make small profits.

It doesn't matter how it looks if it works. All kinds of visuals I've seen (in such games) look cheap, so you concentrate on the process and don't care how it looks. Of course, I can only speak for myself.
Would you play? – Why not? Such games have some magic, and as I said, it doesn't matter how it looks.
For me, the main appeal of such games is the gameplay. It's not for profit – it's for fun. Maybe the fast rounds too – they allow you to be totally involved in the game.

True that, but we all know there are lots of competition in the gambling industry, probably this is also the reason why @OP is asking the members their opinion.  When every casino is offering the same system, the same reward, and the same mechanics, the one with the best presentation and offers more beneficial features (in this case the turbo mode to shorten the time of execution) will linger in the mind of the audience.  This is what I observed when competitors offer the same product.
