The statistical chart indicates an increase in the number of Bitcoin addresses holding more than 100 BTC, suggesting that whales are growing in number as many continue to view Bitcoin as an investment asset. Therefore, rather than selling your Bitcoin for whales to acquire it, consider holding on instead.
Those charts are also very misleading
- first, the number of coins grows each day, statiticlly it's impossible for addresses under 10BTC over 100BTC under 1000 BTC to keep being the same, back when Satoshi was mining, there was no address with over 10 000 BTC for a while, because in the first months it would have been impossible mathematically
- an address doesn't mean a single owner; there are also custodial addresses
- a single person can generate multiple of those by just splitting their coins into different addresses; for example, Coinbase doesn't hold it's coins for the custodial service in just one address but in multiple smaller multisig addresses for security.
Also, a chart without zero on that axis should be banned
That whole increase is from 19250 to 20 250 in a year, so, less than 4%!
