Don't Allow Whales to Acquire Your Bitcoin

The statistical chart indicates an increase in the number of Bitcoin addresses holding more than 100 BTC, suggesting that whales are growing in number as many continue to view Bitcoin as an investment asset. Therefore, rather than selling your Bitcoin for whales to acquire it, consider holding on instead.
You don’t need to allow it; the Bitcoin market is open, and anyone could purchase and hold. If someone selling their Bitcoin means they are losing. Someone else will make money from that Bitcoin, especially whales. Unless we understand the importance of our holdings, then no one else could convince us.

It’s normal market behaviour when whales address an increase; then there is a possibility that a bull market begins. Because whales know how Bitcoin gives them high returns. But small investors like us don’t realise the benefits of Bitcoin, and that’s the reason we regret it during the bull run.

Whales can possibly trigger any movements, but that doesn't mean they can actually dictate what's going to happen. Market is so big now and for sure any of their manipulative attempts will not work not.

Also Bitcoin strength usually comes from its open access to anyone. Then any investor either they are small or whales could decide to buy and hold or whatever things benefits them.

Selling their coins does not mean they are automatically losing, because each people have their own satisfaction level. Also what happen is just a transfer of ownership, especially if other people or those whales decide to buy.

If we just focus on our own conviction or long term plans, we don't need to chase the movement of those whales also the FOMO happening if there's a bull run occurs.

Whales can be market makers and they have enough purchasing power, selling pressure, experience in this market as well as other chains of connection and tools for doing their manipulations including news spreading around. They have big capitals that need a quite longer time to move in and move out of the market, so it's their big disadvantage against people with smaller capitals.

We don't have to feel jealously with whales because if we can invest long term, act like whales, have mindset of long term investors, we will be able to accumulate bitcoins like whales and let whales' market manipulation to bring profit to our portfolios. Whales have to do their manipulations while we simply can enjoy and harvest profit from their manipulations.

What if these whales just have their bitcoins in multiple wallets just to spread their risks? These guys are in it for business, and they are very serious about it. They are not investing with emotions. We are not supposed to be surprised that they have huge amounts of Bitcoin in their addresses; we should all consider the season we are in. This is a time when whales accumulate more Bitcoin in anticipation of a bullish season. They understand Bitcoin better and won't act like regular investors who are weak hands. Bitcoin is free for everyone. We cannot stop whales from accumulating more Bitcoin; all we can do is protect ours jealously.

Whales are of different categories to begin with and while we have the OG individual whales who have been from the onset of Bitcoin and have accumulated enough overtime, the launch and adoption of spot ETF created a new variant of whales that favor regulated custodians.
That being said, the bottom line is not to sell off Bitcoin out of panic, but to accumulate and hold as much as possible so as to prevent you as a retail holders purchasing power from being overtaken or transferred to these big pocket whales waiting in line to absorb your Bitcoin.

This advice to hodlers not to sell in panic is not strange to anyone, that advice has always been there. Whether whales are accumulating more bitcoins or not, hodlers are still not expected to act in panic. Their reason for panicking shouldn't neccessarily be because they don't want their bitcoins taken over by the big guys in the industry, but because they (the retail investors) will always be at the losing  side if they do not put their emotions under control. Bitcoin is volatile; panic sales mean that they might likely sell at a very little profit rate , no profit at all or even at a loss

Whales will always buy more Bitcoin. They have more money to buy. So, like it or not, they will buy. To me, selling your Bitcoin doesn't mean you are losing. People have reasons for selling their Bitcoins. Everybody won't hold for the same amount of time, and selling doesn't mean you're selling everything. There is always a supply of Bitcoin, so anybody who demands it will get it. All that matters is that we shouldn't be in a hurry to take profit or panic because of FUD. It's okay to sell, but it should be a well thought out plan and not out of panic.

Don't Allow Whales to Acquire Your Bitcoin

https://x.com/i/status/2093441545911357795

The statistical chart indicates an increase in the number of Bitcoin addresses holding more than 100 BTC, suggesting that whales are growing in number as many continue to view Bitcoin as an investment asset. Therefore, rather than selling your Bitcoin for whales to acquire it, consider holding on instead.

Some are also speculating that the recent bull run could also have been part of what contributed to an increase in Bitcoin investors (whales). It is interesting to discover that we have been experiencing an increasing rate of Bitcoin adoption.

Seeing those holding 100+ BTC being  called whales just show how far bitcoin has come . Years back when bitcoin was still quite cheaper  during its early early stages,  Most of these whales became whales by being patient with their bitcoin holding , especially those that strongly believe in bitcoin not just as form of investment but as a peer to peer electronic cash system .

A time will still come when those that where patient enough to hold up to 5-10 BTC will also be refer to as whales , and I'm anticipating it . Because I believe bitcoin still have room for growth , so keep accumulating and holding and stop selling too early .

This is why, to be honest, I used to think that DYOR is very important for newbies. Newbies are weak hands in the market, and whenever they see any fake news on social media platforms, they got panic and start selling their holdings. And big whales take advantage of that moment to start their accumulation again heavily. And at the same time, if you are old in the crypto space, then you are really aware of this traditional game of the crypto industry, which is also known as manipulation, right?

Because old investors never leave their place in the market just by looking at such kind of fake news. Newbies, the majority of the time, fall prey to FOMO when they leave the market in a panic. Always remember one thing: if you are in the market for the long term, then never lose your position just looking at any kind of shits news on social media.

My theory. When BTC dropped, they bought it at low prices until recently when the rise started, so they moved the Bitcoins to personal addresses to hold them securely long term. To me it's a sign that we have quite a number of folks that have moved BTC out of the exchanges and are waiting for a bull run.
You are right, they have been accumulating while weak hands are selling. There is plenty of data to back what you just said. Whales are really smarter because they know holding BTC is not as hard as retail traders think, but of course, not all fingers are equal, people have different choices. They can trade or hold, but whales tend to make long term investments.

The last two months have been the months of smart money, they were silently accumulating Bitcoin, and now they will enjoy their patience after 2 to 3 years.

Code:
Bitcoin whales have net accumulated approximately 43,000 BTC over the past 60 days, worth roughly $2.75 billion at current market prices
