I agree with some of your points and i think what make it interesting is the combination of many factors like it is decentralized digital currency not a single entity has control over it also you can send or recieve it in any corner of the world in a short period of time without the need of any permission also bitcoin is a store of value so it is no doubt a good thing but i disagree with your point about security i know the system of the bitcoin is secure but users are not secure they still looted through phishing links or keys stolen etcetera. Also volatility is still a major issue so there are a lot of challenges as well which bitcoin is facing silently and still stand like a mountain and i think in the future all these hurdles will vanish completely with the adoption.

I think this is the most delicate part with the bitcoin, I consider the security the most interesting and important aspect because since it’s a decentralized system you’re responsible for any mistakes or errors that’s why you have to check and reconfirm transactions before proceeding. And how to handle your keys is another important aspect because a decentralised system doesn’t have a customer care service that you can call or try a forget password.
