It would be useful to have at least some information about where this token can be bought or sold..
I found it here:
https://pump.fun/coin/KbLggbPMH5xACL4cduKxQHk4PSRYPuCUa4EPtQdpumpMarketcap: $3.26K
Your airdrop pool is 5,000,000 $PRU = around $17
10,000 $PRU = around $0.035
I don't think there's a single person here who would spare a few minutes of their time for 3 cents
And dont call it airdrop, because it is payment for task. Airdrops are for free.
Thanks for your reply keyscore44. As for finding the token - It says pump.fun right in the title! However, I probably should have assumed the platform wasn't well known and should have linked to it inside the thread. Then again, that's something I haven't seen many other airdrops posted here do.
As you can tell by the market cap - my coin is still very new with very low liquidity. It's less than a month old, actually. The amounts being paid are not huge, but the required tasks are rather simple as you literally only have to do 2 things on one network. On top of that, I think the idea behind airdrops is to get the coins and grow with it to see its value go up over time - Not take it and sell it as soon as you receive it.. As you likely already know, a $3K MC is pretty dang small, and that's around what my token is at right now. There is still plenty of room to grow with the tokens you receive, and I had been planning to continue doing more airdrops which gives people additional chances to get more tokens. Personally, I don't have the liquidity myself at the moment to put a huge sum into the airdrop and the token doesn't have lots of liquidity in it to where I could make a case for pulling some out to use. I want to give some tokens away, but I'm not going to lie to everyone and tell them that I'm giving away 5000 USDT or 2 SOL or something when I'm really not. A few people have joined the airdrop already and if any others feel like doing two very simple X tasks they are welcome to join as well. If not, that's okay and I'll have to use that to make changes before I run another one. But in the end, I'm not going to do what so many other crypto projects do and make false promises to people.
I don't quite understand your last sentence. You say it's a payment for a task, not an airdrop..but, I think that's exactly what an airdrop is. You join the airdrop (usually Telegram bots), complete tasks (join channels/groups, follow, retweet..etc), and in the end (after a period of time) you receive coins in return for doing so. Is there something I'm missing here because that's exactly what mine does? Your argument here might've made more sense if you said if should be called a Sweepstakes and not an Airdrop, but not payment for a task. Airdrops are payments for tasks. Only with many of them, you're doing several tasks across several networks. I actually did consider labeling this a sweepstakes because of the cap I was setting, but I also honestly thought it would be a stretch to get that high. If it had actually managed to, I likely would've bumped it up from there because I know the amount is not huge and it wouldn't be impossible to send more than 500 people 10K coins/each.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond with your thoughts and suggestions! You've definitely given me some things to consider before starting the next one. I'll just end with this - You're incorrect about a single person who'd spare a few minutes of their time for a few cents. In fact you'd probably be surprised what people in this world will do for a few cents. Finally, giveaways are free - not airdrops. You complete steps (tasks) in airdrops.
