I see that no one is talking about Canda- America trade tensions, The POTUS decided to impose a 50% tarrif on Canadian goods just because Canadians refuse to submit their economic sovereignty. America and Canada literally depends on one another, for example most car part are manufactured in Canada and coupled in America while canda relies on America for dairy products.  This new trade tension is  known as dollar for dollar. The US enacted 50% tarrif on about $28 worth of Canada goods. The Canada impose a retailory tarrif of 15%, 25% and 50% on America products.
American Goods Targeted by Canada
1.Heavy metals
2.Agricultural and heavy equipment
3.Dairy products
4.House hold appliances
5.plastic paper and packing
Canadian Goods Targeted by the U.S.
1.Sports & Recreation
2.Housing & Construction
3.Food & Beverages
4.Apparel & Home Goods.
The important discussion we should be having is who is the biggest loser. Economically Canada losses more, but political the US. The America people are not happy with the tarrif being impose by Trump, midterm elections is close by. The consequences will be felt.
Trump list of war keeps growing.

What most Americans should know is that Trump is not  fighting for himself, he’s doing everything possible to put back the United States in a position where the country will be at the top of everything they are involved, and that is not a bad idea. Many Americans might not like the president approach now, but in due time they will definitely benefit from everything the president is putting in place. Come to think of it, Trump is an old man that has everything he could ever want in life, yet he keeps working tirelessly to make sure that USA benefiting from all sides. I’m not in any way benefiting from this economic war between the two countries, but what I will say is that both countries should do what they think will benefit their citizens and protect their national interests.

Canada should show that they are not depending on the US. Why would a country be exporting over 70% of its products to the US alone? Why is Canada also focusing on other countries like the EU?

I am not saying I like what Trump is doing, I do not think anyone will like that.

I think Canada should be the United States closest ally. Only what Trump wanted is probably try ways to reduce the trade deficit United States is having with Canada.
