My feeling is the market runs as it ways although some people say speculation about the market. Maybe the news saying about MicroStrategy buying Bitcoin give the affects to the market and that makes people panic buying because they thinks the price will increases soon.

But my feeling will not affect with the speculation because they don't know the truth and that is only speculation. No one will know exactly what happens to Bitcoin and the market and if you want more Bitcoin, you should focus on your buy and accumulate before the price jump higher.

Exactly, this has been one of my stance when it comes to bitcoin price factor effects. No doubt strategy has been one of huge institutional operators as a result of their aggressive approach of accumulating bitcoin, news has it that they have about 4% out of roughly 95% of bitcoin ever mined. So the question is what then happens to the remaining 91%, are there not individuals and other institutions who have been involved in this category quietly accumulating and hodling. The idea of giving too much reference to just one factor is what I don’t buy into when it comes to bitcoin price effects because there are so many others who are contributing to this also and we are yet to see or know most of them. The best thing isn’t to totally ignore speculations but paying more attention towards growing your Holdings, do your DCA regularly because right now even if the price should increase more, what will determine our level of profit as investors is the amount of bitcoin in our custody.

I don't like this game either when people assume we are doomed when strategy sells but think it's a sign of bull run when they buy.

$370m is not a small money. I agree it's a big buy but common let remain calm because they're not doing anything special. They are just accumulating like every other person but with more money. Saylor is doing this with other people's money and then announce it on media.

If our happiness should depend on the action of these guys, we are really playing a dangerous game. Market is way bigger than one buyer, we should start seeing it as a normal thing.

I doesn't change how I am feeling about the market but indeed it contributes to adoption, when many investors accumulate and hold Bitcoin, which signals high demand, it can causes price to go up, so yea, as they are accumulating and others are also doing so, hopefully the price will go up. Despite that Strategy sold some Bitcoins months ago, they already said they will still buy again.

Based on your second question, it's not just because of this their purchase that should make you think that we are going to see a strong bullish move at the end of the year, there are other whales out there too who are buying too. Just buy and hold, even if this year doesn't end in green, the bull season will be good.

Firstly my thinking was that it was inevitable they were going to buy again, their business
model has been wildly popular and successfull with their customers.

What they sold recently was pocket change in terms of their overall holdings.

and this doesnt change how I feel about the market but im sure others will act on this single
piece of news.

They might even sell more later in the month or before the end of the year and some
people will be in a spin about it.

No, it doesn't! This is because what the market needs now is a strong event or US government motivated decisions. Just like the double debt buying that skyrocketed Bitcoin in August.

No either! And as you can see, Bitcoin hasn't been so excited with that development, to begin with.

Based on your second question, it's not just because of this their purchase that should make you think that we are going to see a strong bullish move at the end of the year, there are other whales out there too who are buying too. Just buy and hold, even if this year doesn't end in green, the bull season will be good.

Some people surely think the market will soon enter a bullish season due to the price increases that have occurred. Although it has corrected several times, the market appears to be making price gains again. The news regarding large scale adoption has sparked much speculation that the arrival of a bullish season is drawing nearer. 
Some people may be quite tired of waiting for the market to move as it currently does. Most holders are certainly pleased when they see the market moving in a favorable direction.

I don't like when the mass feels like they (Strategy) are the ones dictating the Bitcoin market. It's not healthy, in my opinion.

Let's not forget that they also sold some Bitcoin recently, even though they had promised just to buy and hold. So, I believe they are just trying to add again after liquidating some from their treasury. It's normal to buy and sell if only they had not made that claim.
Still, I believe they are going to sell again very soon and use their own rule that they can liquidate a part of it, and it's part of the contract or agreement. I think we should shift our eyes on something else because this will be normal for them.

It changes nothing. Market is not yet facing the big bull trend. Just because Saylor buy bitcoin, are you thinking we're heading to the big bull trend? I suggest you never to use Saylor as your model or signal to determine market's trend. Saylor is the same like us, he sold at bottom and buy at top. The picture is the evidence.

A small bumb means nothing until there is a confirmation bitcoin to break 81k - 82k barrier. So i'm not gonna take the hopium. It's possible to see a retracement before we're moving to the higher leg. 68k - 72k possible for the end of year.

That's good for Strategy for buying Bitcoin. Let it be known that Strategy accumulated Bitcoin so far; it's really their gain to hold on to in the future, not ours, because each one of us is bearing the profits and losses we have on Bitcoin on our own.

I won't hereby celebrate Strategy for buying Bitcoin when I know that the move they take on Bitcoin is for them to dump their accumulated Bitcoin on us at any time. They did it before; they will do it again

The decision of strategy is based on personal gain, although it also serves as an encouragement to those that haven't taken action yet, strategy did well for themselves, but that doesn't have anything to do with how I see the market because strategy did not start non stop buying today, it has been their thing, and even they break they went for, if actually they did, are all their strategies, they'll still buy more, as for what I think, I have my strategy of buying Bitcoin, which is buying through the DCA method with my discreationary income, thats the method I will still stick to, Bitcoin Price is unpredictable, so we do not know the price it will finish at, this year.

Oh ,they bought another round of Bitcoin again, now we await for another dump . What happened to their  "never  sell your Bitcoin phrase" . I guess strategy are in some type of financial crises, which why they sold some amount of their holdings. We should know that strategy isn't a one man enterprise, so they operate under corporate pressure, share holder expectations etc. In their mind, they think that they will be able to manipulate Bitcoin price by buying and selling.  Their philosophy has changed to making quick profit off Bitcoin.

They will keep repeating the cycle again ,when it suits them. Buy aggressively when conditions favor them, then sell when their balance sheet demands it.

I think you are the one who might not have been active with crypto news, and you are just coming back, which made you think that Strategy went on a few months' break. The last time I checked, even if other news are not posting about it. The Michael Saylor always posts about their buy and sell on his tweet page which every month they have an activity, so it's nothing new here the only thing they started doing new which was not on there record was beginning to sell which at first many where very skeptical about it.

Microstrategy never left buying of Bitcoin, they just strategized against and came back bigger this time around to accumulate more into their portfolio after selling some parts of their Bitcoin.

Microstrategy move in the market doesn’t change any of my perspective of the market, they are now becoming just like another holder, and their steps taken in the market doesn’t really affect the market anymore.

Other investors now see them as not a threat to change their mindset of the market, either they’re buying or selling in snallnkr large quantities.

But to be honest, we shouldn't rely our financial decision through Strategy or any other companies and personalities. All the information have been given to us already and they're ready in the public that can help us decide better.

Whether they buy more or sell more, it's on us on how we're going to use these news into our advantage. If they buy more, it's a buy signal for others but it can also be not a good indication because the price has probably pumped already.

And AFAIK, Saylor said that despite the sell offs they've made, they'll continue to buy.

I feel the more invested we are in what Strategy does, we'd be building our portfolio based off of what he does or doesn't do. Bitcoin will rise and fall and even though a whale decides to start purchasing or rest, it won't change the fact that Bitcoin is volatile.
Michael Saylor had been on a sabbatical of sorts and decided to buy more as a way to announce himself back into the market even though he does not need an introduction but that shouldn't concern us. Just buy, hold and wait for the right time to sell and take in profits

Investors choosing their decision based on what other investors are doing or monitoring the big investors and trying to follow their steps is a mistakes because the big institutional investors do not care about we small investors because everything they do is to convince us to follow them in selling when they are secretly buying back but you will not know.

Bitcoin can do very well with them in or without them hence we should not be concerned as you said but follow what we want to do and not listen to them. Their returns is because they notice that the fear that they tried to cause when they left was not working as people keep on buying Bitcoin. They left previously but are back, to make more profit and this is what all the big investors care about.

No. Nothing changed, and please, I think this is the time to stop acting in these kind of acquisitions like it's a big thing. They can buy, and they can sell, and we can still ignore about what they're doing. Institutions do buy and sell Bitcoins, but isn't it now is the time for us to ignore it? I mean I don't know to some, but I just simply ignore this one because... I don't see any sense in following the acquisitions of these companies anymore.

Probably yes, probably no, and if we end up this year in "strong" one, these institutions including Strategy isn't the primary reason for it. There's other reason/s that's for sure. Whether it's Trump making another positive tweet at the end of the year? Maybe some good macroeconomic events in the US that could push the price of Bitcoin and other assets upwards? I'm pretty sure it's not them.

As for me, Strategy could just continue what they're doing which is "Buy High, Sell low" and me? I'll continue to accumulate Bitcoin as long as I have spare money.

It doesn't change everything, on how the market see it. Regardless, we have our own choice, sometimes we might follow them, others are simply going to ignore Saylor as he is just another noise that we need to quiet in the market.

So let's see, we are still in the bear market though, so plenty of time to accumulate. So this is the perfect opportunity for us average joe to do DCA and just save as much as Bitcoin as we can have before the end of the year and then welcome 2027 as we might be closer to another Bitcoin halving.

The current situation on the moves of Strategy really matches the question because, Speculations had also gone round about how some other investors have also been influenced according to the decisions of the Strategy.
It is also no more news that when influential whalers or institutions like that spreads news to sell their Bitcoins, it gets some other investors skeptic psychologically about negative events of price falls possible to happen. I am also sure that it is usually those with short term investment goals (traders) that reacts this manner.

So as the news of Strategy buying more Bitcoins recently comes, I am wondering the psychological mindset of those that sold theres when the institution sold.
They should be regretting by now that they were misled. Very funny as thought.
I guess some hard lessons had also been learnt in this discussion that we should not pay too much attentions on news neither be vulnerable to be manipulated to take unnecessary decisions over others decisions.

This means that when the MicroStrategy company experiences a decrease in purchasing power, they don't bother covering all costs incurred, employee salaries, routine company expenses and so on, they have Bitcoin asset reserves, which has a huge advantage for the MicroStrategy company.
Logically, just imagine if the MicroStrategy company had 845,050 BTC, they bought at $70k and sold at $75k per month for 200,000 BTC, with a profit of $5k/BTC they already have a profit of $1 billion/month without selling their products, remember MicroStrategy's main business goal is profit, especially if they sell 500,000 BTC or all of it, that's the basic calculation.

At this point it is very important not to base your bitcoin attitude on anyone, but only on your personal understanding and goal in bitcoin because anyone you follow sheepishly will always disappoint, betray and make you understand how important it is to have a stand in bitcoin. How did strategy manage to sell at $60ks and then buy back at $80k? Does the OTC bitcoin sale mitigate the effect of selling at loss? There's more to this bitcoin transactions run by MicroStrategy because it's just some weeks since he put the bitcoin community into confusion with his bitcoin sales event when his bitcoin was averaging $75k in total cost and now he's buying at $80k.

YOSHIE, You are comparing having a bitcoin reserve that has an average price of $70k and selling at $75k, that's a cool trade with an instant $5k profit per bitcoin. Perhaps, this is different from the MicroStrategy dealings with bitcoin. Initially having an average price of $75k and selling at $60k area and buying back at $80k, what do you call that? It just makes me believe there's more to it than mere bitcoin trade.
