The $370M buy is the interesting one. Rather than what it means for the buy. The fact that they have sold at a much lower price in the past and purchased 4,603 BTC indicates that they are not necessarily attempting to time the market. They appear more interested in holding the BTC on a significantly longer term basis. I wouldn't necessarily think of one company's acquisition as a positive sign that the market will perform well at the end of the year. But it's positive news for the market in the long term. I would prefer to see if other institutions continue to build up too. If it was Strategy buying and also institutional demand. That would be a very strong indication.
They've solved because they need to pay the dividends to their investors. So yes, they don't need to time the market, although they could have done it when the price is just about $80k to take more profit. But I guess they are not after that, their priority is to pay those people who have invested on their company. So in an sense, it's not that bad decision after all. They have a obligation and that is their priority. They can make a comeback later which they did. So still a win win for us and they will continue what they are doing since then, to accumulate more BTC in their balance sheet.

Strategy thrive on this sentiment, they got nonstop exposure by simply buying bitcoin over the counter, something that shouldn't even move the market by one bit but the community took it as some kind of signal. Strategy's decision to buy has never been a sign of anything, instead their decision to buy not based on price but periodical has been subject of scrutinize because it raises their mNAV exponentially, a potential for a disaster considering how they structured their company around leverage.
I stopped paying attention to the Bitcoin purchase of Michael Saylor and Microstrategy a long time ago because their purchase have zero impact on the market. Before when I hear news about their purchase, I usually expect serious buy pressure in the market but time has shown that their buy has no net effect on the market because they are buying through OTC. Unfortunately, when they sell, the news carry it in such way that it lead to some panic in the market. This is my problem with news about Microstrategy.

Whether Strategy will return or not, it won't change the fact that bitcoin price is heading to its bullish market, especially if the current price continue to increase in the coming days and months.
However, the return of Strategy may definitely increase bitcoin demand, and develop more positive market sentiments that could attract bigger institutional investors to buy and accumulate bitcoin. As a result, it will strengthen market confidence and encourage more big companies to set bitcoin as their corporate reserve asset. The higher bitcoin price gets into, the more tempting for institutional investors to enter bitcoin.
Long-term Bitcoin investors shouldn't be influenced by the decisions of these big institutions like Strategy. Maybe traders should, since news such as Strategy's accumulating or dumping Bitcoin. Michael Saylor came up with the idea that Bitcoin shouldn't be sold. So many people who copied his investment pattern were disappointed when Strategy dumped a few coins. So the company's decision to accumulate would change the perception of investors. This is because they are now assured that Strategy has a feasible Bitcoin investment plan and is not leaving the industry.

The problem isn't just that they are buying Bitcoin through OTC. Their buying power is simply too small compared to the overall liquidity of the market to have any meaningful impact. ETF inflows are much bigger, but as we have seen, even large positive ETF flow doesnt mean Bitcoin is going up, let alone a purchase from Strategy. Instead of getting excited because they're buying, ask who is selling. If nobody is selling, where are they getting the Bitcoin from? Price depends on many other factors, not just a few institutions buying. The community is making way too big a deal out of Strategy buying Bitcoin, IMO.

The worst decision to ever make is by selling when the market is bearish instead of holding, some easily forget that it will also come after every fall, volatility is what we cannot do without in crypto and this is why each time we discover about a particular season, then you should not disturb us much when we see it going bearish performance because they will soon be the opposite whereby the market will rise.
The bear season is one that many investors fear, and also a season that potential investors look forward to accumulate more Bitcoin. For a person who is well grounded in Bitcoin tokenomics, the bear season should be the accumulation season, not a period to panic sell for fear of losing assets completely. This is the peace of mind that investors enjoy, there is no panic or fear for what Bitcoin's price is because the goal is long term profit. Additionally, there should be a set target for profits, that way it's easier to be contented with whatever profit generated inspite of future price increase.

Your topic says "they returned to Bitcoin" Did they ever leave? They only sold some portions of their holdings which might not even be close to half of what they're holding.
They understand the market and have the right to make withdrawals if they had made profits, so adding back to their portfolio is not a big deal, it’s what every investor should learn from, buy - hold - withdraw some - continue the process.

We cannot deny the impact of Strategy in the Bitcoin market, they are one of the top movers and shakers of the Bitcoin market, so I can say to a large extent that their getting back into the market is a good news because when they decided to go against saylor's stance by starting to dump on the market some analysts believed that it was the begining of the end of their Bitcoin journey. We have now adjusted to the reality that Strategy can buy and sell Bitcoin when a need arises for them to do so, it wouldn't take anything away when it's time for Bitcoin to skyrocket progressively in bull run. Bitcoin is a volatile asset and as far as it remains so uptrend and downturn will continue to be and we shouldn't worry too much about dip so long as majority of it's holders are not willing to dump in the market at the same time so it's a good fundamental that Strategy is buying back .

Microstrategy, now (Strategy) have not quite their Bitcoin accumulation since their started and their actions in buying Bitcoin have always created market sentiments that tend to push the price of Bitcoin to an expected high each time strategy make headlines news for their large Bitcoin constant buying. Even though Bitcoin market movement can be so independent that just a single actor's action like strategy to create a lot of hype or market trajectory in most cases, their are among the highest Bitcoin mainstream investors who have created a lot of media awareness about their Bitcoin buying each time.

For me, I really don’t like to focus on what strategy has been doing. I know the market reacts to strategy selling or buying. But I just like to focus on Bitcoin, not to focus on whoever is investing in that. Investors will come and go; I have to think about what I have been doing as well.
For me, I just like to accumulate during bear and take the profits from the volatility, especially to wait for the break ATH. It’s all about taking the profits; it doesn’t matter the strategy or who has been selling or buying. There was a lot of discussion on the forum, but we shouldn’t react to that.

Obviously, although I cannot say that strategy is not important in investing but paying too much attention to other things such as the investors who are also involved in it is also of no benefit, I prefer to stick to my own principles. On the other hand maybe you only enter when the market is in a bearish situation but if I am personally honest I enter in all price categories because I use DCA which I do on a weekly scale and of course I am also waiting for the ATH moment to take at least part of my profits.

If someone invests in Bitcoin only by following a strategy, it is not a good sign. That strategy will buy Bitcoin at its convenience and can also sell when necessary. I have seen that if he buys, there is no significant change in the market, but if he announces a sale, it has a huge negative impact on the market. This creates panic among investors. I think those investors should have a better understanding of Bitcoin. A person can sell Bitcoin if necessary, but the price of Bitcoin will not decrease for this. Even if it temporarily drops, it will definitely return to its previous position. I no longer worry about what the strategy did. I focus as much as possible on my own investment condition and how much I can achieve in the future.

The price of Bitcoin is very uncertain and can go up and down at any time, so you should maintain the continuity of buying. You should continue to buy Bitcoin and save Bitcoin for the future. Don't worry about them. They have been holding Bitcoin and collected people's money by selling shares, so they can decide to sell Bitcoin at a high price at any time. So you shouldn't waste your valuable time thinking about them, if you want to invest in Bitcoin, you must do it quickly. And you should maintain the continuity of buying Bitcoin so that you can take the opportunity to buy Bitcoin in both high and low prices.

After a long time, Microstrategy has added Bitcoin to their reserves again, which has given the market some positive response. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is moving towards a high, looking at the market performance, it seems that the price will increase further. The way the market has started to fluctuate now, a good change can be expected this year. Looking at the green candles in the market, it is expected that it will exceed $90k this month, and by the end of the year, the price of Bitcoin is likely to exceed $100k. However, the Strategy company has no hand in changing the market price, the market moves at its own pace. However, there are many investors who were waiting to see Strategy buy Bitcoin, and invest in Bitcoin with them. However, we certainly expect such an improvement in the market that the price will be higher towards the end of the year.

Bitcoin is the best investment that you can safe for long term and get benefits later, in this life, when we think that we will be listing to people’s opinions always, we won’t do any meaningful things for our self, and the time we have the opportunity to do, we won’t, since others are saying negative about it, you will feel discouraged, and with some short term, when others are getting profit, you will start to feel regret, why you didn’t follow your mind to invest with others. Bitcoin price is always uncertainty, we can’t know the next step he will take, we should invest when we have the privilege to invest and stop thinking otherwise.

Viewing a bear market merely as a period of falling prices fails to capture the full picture. For those who view Bitcoin as a long term asset and understand the implications of its limited supply and the halving event this period is actually an accumulation phase. However simply buying during a bear market isn't enough. The most important thing is to stay within your financial means and accumulate Bitcoin gradually using a systematic approach. Since no one can predict exactly where the market bottom lies buying in small regular amounts is often more effective and comfortable than making a single large investment decision. Another factor to consider is the profit target. Naturally this varies from person to person as everyone’s financial goals and needs differ. However having a solid plan in place before investing significantly reduces the likelihood of making emotional ill advised decisions. Ultimately achieving success with Bitcoin requires not just a good entry price but also patience the right mindset and a long term strategy.

This is what I was looking for. At first when I saw the title, I was also confused but later I found out that it was about their purchase of Bitcoin. They are actually very smart. They know when to buy and when to sell. Since they saw that the price was down, they took the opportunity and bought a sufficient number of coins for their portfolio again. I think that with their large scale buying activity, we might see a good price correction in BTC. It will probably go up for a short period, as MicroStrategy has just increased the demand by accumulating more coins. So short term investors may have a good opportunity to make a small profit from the market. I see this as a good sign, especially since I am a long term Bitcoin investor.

Not really. They never returned. They were always in Bitcoin. They just made a few people nervous because they did a small sell, which could or could not be interpreted as a test to see how the market reacts. Which could or could not mean they were/are considering selling. And someone with that much Bitcoin sells, could cause a temporary panic dump. Nobody except the hodlers wants to hodl during dumps. And nobody except the hodlers keep their coin once BTC goes back up...
